The summatory function of the Möbius function in function fields [PDF]
We study the growth rate of the summatory function of the Möbius function in the context of an algebraic curve over a finite field. Our work shows a strong resemblance to its number field counterpart, which was proved by Ng in 2004. Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

We show that Busemann functions on a smooth, non-compact, complete, boundaryless, connected Riemannian manifold are viscosity solutions with respect to the Hamilton-Jacobi equation determined by the Riemannian metric and consequently they are locally semi-concave with linear modulus.
