Underlying functors on fibered manifolds

open access: yesAnnales Universitatis Paedagogicae Cracoviensis: Studia Mathematica, 2004
For a product preserving bundle functor on the category of fibered manifolds we describe subordinated functors and we introduce the concept of the underlying functor. We also show that there is an affine bundle structure on product preserving functors on

On the Singer functor R_1 and the functor Fix

open access: yes, 2009
Lannes' T-functor is used to give a construction of the Singer functor R_1 on the category U of unstable modules over the Steenrod algebra A. This leads to a direct proof that the composite functor Fix R_1 is naturally equivalent to the identity. Further properties of the functors R_1 are deduced, especially when applied to reduced and nilclosed ...

On Dynamical Adjoint Functor [PDF]

open access: yesApplied Categorical Structures, 2011
We give an explicit formula relating the dynamical adjoint functor and dynamical twist over nonalbelian base to the invariant pairing on parabolic Verma modules. As an illustration, we give explicit $U(sl(n))$- and $U_\hbar(sl(n))$-invariant star product on projective spaces.

Separable functors in corings

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2002
We develop some basic functorial techniques for the study of the categories of comodules over corings. In particular, we prove that the induction functor stemming from every morphism of corings has a left adjoint, called ad-induction functor.

Derivation functors and Lusztig's induction functors

open access: yes, 2022
Lusztig proved the compatibility of induction functors and restriction functors for Lusztig's perverse sheaves. Fang-Lan-Xiao established a categorification of Green's formula and gave a sheaf-level proof of this compatibility for all semisimple complexes.

On monomorphic topological functors with finite supports

open access: yesKarpatsʹkì Matematičnì Publìkacìï, 2012
We prove that a monomorphic functor $F:CompoComp$ with finite supports isepimorphic, continuous, and its maximal $emptyset$-modification $F^circ$ preserves intersections.
