HUMAN RIGHTS - A CONCEPT WITH UNIVERSAL MEANINGS [PDF]
The concept of human rights has evolved in its essence as physical force was gradually replaced by reason, as in society took shape legal principles that would become fundamental: the principle of freedom, equality, solidarity, etc..

This paper presents a digital microfluidics‐based technique for transferring and reconfiguring soft nanomembranes. Laser‐machined nanothin membranes are picked up, transported, and aligned via tailored surface tension and the actuation of water droplets, enabling the development of flexible electronics, the integration of functional materials on 3D ...

Human rights and fundamental freedoms
Najjednostavniji način za opis međunarodnog prava jest sustav koji je horizontalan. To je horizontalni sustav između ograničenog broja aktera, a ti akteri su države. U tom je smislu međunarodno pravo horizontalni sustav između država.

Field‐free spin‐orbit torque domain‐wall synapses integrated with stochastic MTJ neurons enable compact hardware Boltzmann machines. Leveraging intrinsic stochasticity and multi‐level conductance, the system achieves efficient probabilistic learning with high accuracy, demonstrating a scalable spintronic platform for energy‐efficient edge AI.

Academic Freedom as Fundamental Right
[EN] The paper aims at defining in particular the concept of academic freedom within the context of the European legal sources. Even though the idea of a special corporative status for professors was born during the Middle Ages, it was only during the second half of the twentieth century that the Constitutions recognised academic freedom as an ...

Historical Foundation and Practical Guideline for Ferroelectric Switching Kinetic Studies
The P and U pulses in the conventional PUND measurements are not identical because of the interplay between switching current and the measurement circuit components. This circuit effect can lead to a shift in polarization transients and misinterpreted physics in the switching kinetics.

Near‐Infrared Light‐Driven Zn/Au Janus Micromotors for Multiplex SERS Detection of Anticancer Drugs
Zn/Au Janus micromotors, propelled by thermophoretic effects under NIR light, function as active SERS platforms for single and multiplex detection of anticancer drugs. Their dynamic motion enhances analyte exchange at the Au interface, reducing saturation and competitive adsorption, thereby improving sensitivity and extending the linear detection range.

The Italian state of emergency : responses and consequences for fundamental freedoms
Published on March 25th, 2020For us, Italian residents, the coronavirus crisis came as a tsunami. We heard the earthquake from afar, we witnessed the sea slowly retract, but it was only when the waves struck that we realized it was here.

Unraveling the Electronic Structure of Silicon Vacancy Centers in 4H‐SiC
The electronic structure of the silicon vacancy in 4H‐SiC is probed via transient absorption spectroscopy, uncovering previously inaccessible excited states of the quartet and doublet spin channels, including the V2' transition. In combination with theoretical analysis, a comprehensive picture of the electronic structure is established.
