Stellar Ages of TESS Stars, Adopting Spectroscopic Data from Gaia GSP-Spec
The Gaia DR3 GSP-spec/TESS (GST) catalog combines asteroseismic data from NASA’s TESS mission with spectroscopic data from ESA’s Gaia mission, and contains about 116,000 Red Clump and Red Giant Branch stars, surpassing previous datasets in size and ...

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

RECENT VARIATIONS OF FUNDAMENTAL PARAMETERS AND THEIR IMPLICATIONS FOR GRAVITATION [PDF]
We compare the sensitivity of a recent bound on time variation of the fine structure constant from optical clocks with bounds on time varying fundamental constants from atomic clocks sensitive to the electron-to-proton mass ratio, from radioactive decay rates in meteorites, and from the Oklo natural reactor. Tests of the Weak Equivalence Principle also

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Compilation of fundamental parameters of earth
Earth is a unique planet in the universe characterized by a stable crust and a dynamic internal environment, fostering intelligent life. Studying Earth not only aids in understanding our habitat but also helps uncover mysteries of other celestial bodies. Earth parameter data are essential for a comprehensive understanding of the planet. Here we compile

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

A Reanalysis of the Fundamental Parameters and Age of TRAPPIST-1*
Abstract We present the distance-calibrated spectral energy distribution (SED) of TRAPPIST-1 using a new medium-resolution (R ∼ 6000) near-infrared (NIR) Folded-port InfraRed Echellette (FIRE) spectrum and its Gaia parallax. We report an updated bolometric luminosity (L bol) of −3.216 ± 0.016, along with semiempirical ...

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.
