O comportamento do elétron: uma análise do efeito compton e da relação de Broglie The behavior of the electron: an analysis of the compton effect and the de Broglie's relation

open access: yesQuímica Nova, 2008
The De Broglie's relation was a fundamental step in the development of a wave nature for matter. Therefore, we have examined it from the perspective of the new atomic theory.

Recurrence relations for the W3 $$ {\mathcal{W}}_3 $$ conformal blocks and N=2 $$ \mathcal{N}=2 $$ SYM partition functions

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
Recursion relations for the sphere 4-point and torus 1-point W3 $$ {\mathcal{W}}_3 $$ conformal blocks, generalizing Alexei Zamolodchikov’s famous relation for the Virasoro conformal blocks are proposed.

Feasibility and Preliminary Efficacy of Integrative Neuromuscular Training for Childhood Cancer Survivors: A Pilot Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Survivors of childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) often exhibit early deficits in muscle and movement competence, which can compromise long‐term health. Integrative neuromuscular training (INT), a multifaceted approach combining fundamental movement activities with strength exercises, may help address these deficits during ...

The Role of Invasive Procedures in the Treatment of Complicated Gastrointestinal Graft‐Versus‐Host Disease in Pediatric Patients

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Gastrointestinal graft‐versus‐host disease (GI GVHD) following hematopoietic stem cell transplant is typically managed with medical therapy, but surgery and angioembolization may be warranted in selected cases with life‐threatening complications.

Two Faces of NOTCH1 in Childhood Lymphoblastic T‐Cell Neoplasia: Prognostic Divergence of Mutational and Structural Aberrations

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In pediatric patients, T‐cell lymphoblastic lymphoma (T‐LBL) survival exceeds 80%. Relapse remains associated with limited curative options. Frontline treatment is largely extrapolated from T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T‐ALL) treatment, reflecting the ongoing debate, whether both entities represent distinct diseases or variants within ...

Blinatumomab Utilization in Pediatric B‐Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia: Experience From the Mountain West

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Blinatumomab is a bispecific T‐cell engager approved for the treatment of pediatric B‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B‐ALL). Outpatient home infusion reduces hospitalization burden and optimizes resource utilization, but is logistically challenging.

New fundamental relation of hyperrings

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Combinatorics, 2013
We prove that @q^* as previously defined [Int. J. Contemp. Math. Sci. 5 (2010) 721] is the smallest equivalence relation such that the quotient structure R/@q^* is a commutative fundamental ring. We also investigate some properties with respect to the commutative fundamental relation @q^* on a hyperring R.

Ethnic Differences in the Association Between SOD2 rs4880 and Hepatotoxicity in Pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia: A Report From the REDIAL Consortium

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Treatment‐associated hepatotoxicity (TAH) is a common complication of pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) treatment, but genetic risk factors remain poorly understood. We evaluated the SOD2 rs4880 variant in 544 children with ALL at Texas Children's Hospital. After adjusting for demographic and clinical covariates, the rs4880 C allele

Lagrange Adjoint System for Linear Fractional Systems with Distributed Delays

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
In the present work we introduce an appropriate definition of the notion of a Lagrange (formal) adjoint system for homogeneous systems with incommensurate-order derivatives in Caputo’s sense and distributed delays. Under natural conditions, the existence

Subordination Approach to Space-Time Fractional Diffusion

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
The fundamental solution to the multi-dimensional space-time fractional diffusion equation is studied by applying the subordination principle, which provides a relation to the classical Gaussian function.
