An Aggregation‐Induced Polymerization Poly(Disulfide)‐Drug Nanoplatform for Autoimmune Uveitis Therapy via Inhibiting the cGAS‐STING Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A cationic poly(disulfide)‐drug nanoplatform (LA/DexP) was developed to treat experimental autoimmune uveitis (EAU). With potent blood‐retinal barrier penetrability, LA/DexP releases DSP in response to high ROS and scavenges cfDNA to inhibit the cGAS‐STING signaling pathway.

Corneal stromal lenticule transplantation for the treatment of congenital optic disc pit maculopathy : a case report and review

open access: yesBMC Ophthalmology
Background Congenital optic disc pit (ODP) is a relatively uncommon congenital anomaly of the optic disc, which seriously affects the patient’s vision when combined with optic disc pit maculopathy(ODP-M).

A Rare De Novo Missense Mutation in IFT122 Confers a Genetic Susceptibility Factor of Idiopathic Pediatric Uveitis Via Trio‐based Whole‐Exome Sequencing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A rare de novo IFT122‐A773E variant is identified in idiopathic pediatric uveitis and shown to exacerbate retinal inflammation and barrier dysfunction. Mechanistically, the variant enhances IFT43 interaction, elevates calcium signaling, and activates the MEK/ERK/FRA1 axis, revealing a previously unrecognized cilia‐associated pathway that may increase ...

High BMI, silicone oil tamponade, and recurrent vitreous hemorrhage predict poor visual outcomes after pars plana vitrectomy in proliferative diabetic retinopathy

open access: yesBMC Ophthalmology
Background Proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR) is a serious microvascular complication of diabetes and a leading cause of global vision loss. Pars plana vitrectomy (PPV) is the primary surgical treatment for PDR, but visual outcomes vary due to ...

An Update on Multimodal Ophthalmological Imaging of Diffuse Choroidal Hemangioma in Sturge–Weber Syndrome

open access: yesVision, 2023
Sturge–Weber syndrome (SWS) is characterized by facial port-wine stains, leptomeningeal hemangiomas, and prominent ocular manifestations such as glaucoma and diffuse choroidal hemangiomas (DCHs).

An Injectable, Self‐Expanding Hemostatic Foam for Field‐Compatible Postpartum Hemorrhage Management

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Postpartum hemorrhage is the leading cause of maternal death worldwide, yet many treatments are hard to use outside well‐equipped hospitals. This work introduces an easy‐to‐use device that rapidly delivers a degradable foam into the uterus. The foam stops bleeding through pressure and clotting support, offering a practical option for low‐resource ...

L'habitat des élites romaines dans les suburbia d'Aquitaine méridionale : approches géographiques et morphologiques

open access: yesFundus
Comment définir les aires suburbaines ? Peut-on identifier un modèle type ? Existe-t-il un ensemble de marqueurs suffisamment pertinents pour essayer de systématiser le processus d’identification dans les différentes provinces de l’Empire romain ...

Microglial TSPAN4‐Dependent Migrasomes Promote Pathological Retinal Neovascularization via Immune‐Vascular Crosstalk

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Combined high‐glucose and hypoxic stress switches microglia into a TSPAN4‐dependent migrasome‐producing state. These migrasomes deliver pro‐angiogenic signals to endothelial cells, activating HIF‐1α/VEGF signaling, disrupting vascular junctions, and fueling pathological neovascularization. This work uncovers migrasome‐mediated immune‐vascular crosstalk

Civitati, fluvio, mari proximus: occupation de l’espace fluvio-lagunaire autour de Narbonne (Narbo Martius/Narbona) durant l’Antiquité tardive (fin IIIe - début VIIIe siècle ap. J.-C.)

open access: yesFundus
La microrégion fluvio-lagunaire au sud et à l’est de Narbo Martius/Narbona (Narbonne, Aude) est un espace particulier revêtant certains aspects suburbains du fait d’accueillir le système portuaire de la ville antique.
