Coordination of antifungal azoles to rhenium di‐ and tricarbonyl complexes results in compounds with enhanced antimicrobial efficacy—up to 32‐fold minimum inhibitory concentration improvement—against methicillin‐sensitive and methicillin‐resistant Staphylococcus aureus over parent azoles.
