arXivThis paper introduces FUNGI, Features from UNsupervised GradIents, a method to enhance the features of transformer encoders by leveraging self-supervised gradients. Our method is simple: given any pretrained model, we first compute gradients from various self-supervised objectives for each input.

Multiple Sampling Capsule Robot for Studying Gut Microbiome
Advanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.A multiple sampling capsule robot (MSCR) is developed for longitudinal gut microbiome analysis. Employing electromagnetic field control, the MSCR can locomote actively, precisely align the selected channel, and collect up to six microbiome samples with minimal cross‐contamination.
