A biological forecasting system to control Black Leaf Streak disease of bananas and plantains [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Ce protocole permet de quantifier le développement de la maladie des raies noires (Mycosphaerella fijiensis) du bananier pour contrôler chimiquement cette maladie avec un minimum d'applications de fongicide.

The Genetic Architecture of Emerging Fungicide Resistance in Populations of a Global Wheat Pathogen

open access: yesbioRxiv, 2020
Containing fungal diseases often depends on the application of fungicidal compounds. Fungicides can rapidly lose effectiveness due to the rise of resistant individuals in populations. However, the lack of knowledge about resistance mutations beyond known

YAP1::TFE3 mediates endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal plasticity in epithelioid hemangioendothelioma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The YAP1::TFE3 fusion protein drives endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EndMT) plasticity, resulting in the loss of endothelial characteristics and gain of mesenchymal‐like properties, including resistance to anoikis, increased migratory capacity, and loss of contact growth inhibition in endothelial cells.

A perspective fungicide for protection of narrow-leaved lupin from diseases during the growth season

open access: yesАграрная наука Евро-Северо-Востока
The article presents the laboratory and field tests results for the effectiveness of the fungicide Protazox SC (suspension concentrate) against anthracnose and other lupin diseases. The tests have been done in Bryansk region in 2020–2022.

Patient‐specific pharmacogenomics demonstrates xCT as predictive therapeutic target in colon cancer with possible implications in tumor connectivity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study integrates transcriptomic profiling of matched tumor and healthy tissues from 32 colorectal cancer patients with functional validation in patient‐derived organoids, revealing dysregulated metabolic programs driven by overexpressed xCT (SLC7A11) and SLC3A2, identifying an oncogenic cystine/glutamate transporter signature linked to ...

Environmental behavior assessment Thiophanate methyl in the soil using different mathematical models

open access: yesKufa Journal for Agricultural Sciences
One of the most common fungicides, Thiophanate-methyl (TM), has been extensively used to prevent fusarium wilt disease. Understanding the kinetic behavior of the TM-fungicide in the greenhouse soil was aimed at the current research.

Fungicide models are key components of multiple modelling approaches for decision-making in crop protection

open access: yesPhytopathologia Mediterranea, 2018
Decision-making for integrated pest management (IPM) in crops requires the assessment of multiple risk factors. Plant disease models have been used to predict disease risk and support decisions about whether and when to protect crops based on ...
