Receptor binding and priming of the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2 for membrane fusion
Infection with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is initiated by virus binding to the ACE2 cell-surface receptors 1 – 4 , followed by fusion of the virus and cell membranes to release the virus genome into the cell.

Loss of the frequently mutated chromatin remodeler ARID1A, a subunit of the SWI/SNF cBAF complex, results in less open chromatin, alternative splicing, and the failure to stop cells from progressing through the cell cycle after DNA damage in bladder (cancer) cells. Created in BioRender. Epigenetic regulators, such as the SWI/SNF complex, with important

Smeared spectrum (SMSP) jamming is a deceptive jamming technique commonly used against linear frequency modulation (LFM) radar. This technique produces high-density false targets that resemble a comb shape after pulse compression processing, resulting in

D-Fusion: A Distinctive Fusion Calculus [PDF]
We study the relative expressive power of Fusion and pi-calculus. Fusion is commonly regarded as a generalisation of pi-calculus. Actually, we prove that there is no uniform fully abstract embedding of pi-calculus into Fusion. This fact motivates the introduction of a new calculus, D-Fusion, with two binders, λ and ν.

Fusion subcategories of representation categories of twisted quantum doubles of finite groups [PDF]
We describe all fusion subcategories of the representation category of a twisted quantum double of a finite group. In view of the fact that every group-theoretical braided fusion category can be embedded into a representation category of a twisted ...

Fusion algebra of critical percolation
We present an explicit conjecture for the chiral fusion algebra of critical percolation considering Virasoro representations with no enlarged or extended symmetry algebra.

This study highlights the importance of multi‐omic analyses in characterizing colorectal cancers. Indeed, our analysis revealed a rare CMS1 exhibiting dampened immune activation, including reduced PD‐1 expression, moderate CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, and suppressed JAK/STAT pathway.

This study investigates gene expression differences between two major pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) subtypes, B‐cell precursor ALL, and T‐cell ALL, using a data‐driven approach consisting of biostatistics and machine learning methods. Following analysis of a discovery dataset, we find a set of 14 expression markers differentiating the ...
