Fusion of algorithms for multiple measurement vectors

2016 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP), 2016
We consider the recovery of sparse signals that share a common support from multiple measurement vectors. The performance of several algorithms developed for this task depends on parameters like dimension of the sparse signal, dimension of measurement vector, sparsity level, measurement noise.

Simulating fusion algorithms with gaming platforms

2010 13th International Conference on Information Fusion, 2010
We discuss issues in testing various cognitive fusion algorithms for situation management. We provide a proof-of-principle discussion and demo showing how gaming technologies and platforms could be used to devise and test various fusion algorithms, including input, processing, and output, and we look at how the proof-of-principle could lead to more ...

Detection filters and algorithm fusion for ATR

IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, 1997
Detection involves locating all candidate regions of interest (objects) in a scene independent of the object class with object distortions and contrast differences, etc., present. It is one of the most formidable problems in automatic target recognition, since it involves analysis of every local scene region.

An improved image registration and fusion algorithm

Wireless Networks, 2020
Under the background of telemedicine, a new registration and mosaic algorithm for medical images is proposed in this paper to solve the problems of electronic noise, uneven illumination and ray scattering in the real-time medical process. The improved Retinex algorithm by trilateral filter and homomorphic filtering algorithm can enhance the image ...

Robust hyperspectral detection with algorithm fusion

2010 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium, 2010
Two simple methods are described for fusing the outputs of hyperspectral rare target detection algorithms to achieve more consistent results across a variety of images and objects of interest. The methods are demonstrated with atmospherically corrected (spectral reflectance) visible/near-infrared/shortwave-infrared and long-wavelength infrared ...

Fusion algorithm not affected by the picture frame

Systems and Computers in Japan, 1985
AbstractThis paper discusses the properties and the algorithms of the fusion operations, which are one of the fundamental techniques of binary image processing. First, a theoretical discussion is made for infinitely spread images, deriving several properties for the fusion operations.

On the power of algorithm fusion

SPIE Proceedings, 2001
The fusion of multiple detection/classification algorithms is proving a very powerful approach for dramatically reducing false alarm rate, while still maintaining a high probability of detection and classification. This paper presents insights on how algorithm fusion achieves these benefits.

Indoor positioning fusion algorithm for smartphones

2014 International Conference on Indoor Positioning and Indoor Navigation (IPIN), 2014
In this paper, a particle filter based fusion algorithm running on smartphones is introduced. It adopts signals, camera and IMU to achieve an accurate indoor positioning. The fusion algorithm achieves a localization accuracy of 2 meter during 80% test time and the maximum error is 4.5 meter.

An Adaptive Fusion Algorithm for Spam Detection

IEEE Intelligent Systems, 2014
Spam detection has become a critical component in various online systems such as email services, advertising engines, social media sites, and so on. Here, the authors use email services as an example, and present an adaptive fusion algorithm for spam detection (AFSD), which is a general, content-based approach and can be applied to nonemail spam ...

Evaluation of multiresolution image fusion algorithms

IEEE International IEEE International IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium, 2004. IGARSS '04. Proceedings. 2004, 2004
This paper is meant to mainly contribute to the comparative evaluation of image fusion algorithms used to merge the information content of spatially coregistered panchromatic and multispectral images. Multiple criteria and statistical indicators regarding the fidelity, spectral, spatial, and textural aspects of image quality are presented for objective
