A new fusion algorithm for fuzzy clustering
In this paper, we have considered the merging problem of two ellipsoidal clusters in order to construct a new fusion algorithm for fuzzy clustering.

Layered‐based exposure fusion algorithm
Owing to the limitation of dynamic range, a single still image is usually insufficient to describe a high contrast scene. Fusing multi‐exposure images of the same scene can produce a resulting image with details both in the bright and the dark regions. However, they may be sensitive to the exposure parameters of the input images.

Advancing Age Modulates Associations Between Cognitive Impairment and Brain Volumes in Early MS
ABSTRACT Introduction Cognitive impairment is common in multiple sclerosis (MS), but manifestations following the first demyelinating event are relatively unexplored. We investigated cross‐sectional associations between magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)–derived brain volumes and the presence of cognitive impairment outcomes five years after the first ...

IOF-Tracker: A Two-Stage Multiple Targets Tracking Method Using Spatial-Temporal Fusion Algorithm
Multi-object tracking aims to track multiple objects across consecutive frames in a video, assigning a unique classifier to each object. However, issues such as occlusions, directional changes, or shape alterations can cause appearance variations ...

Peripheral Neutrophil Activation and Extracellular Trap Formation in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis
Markers of neutrophil activation are increased in plasma during ALS, and markers of NET formation associate with ALS survival. ABSTRACT Objectives Peripheral neutrophil levels in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) inversely correlate with survival, suggesting a role for neutrophils in disease progression.

Cognitive and Neuroimaging Divergence Between Juvenile and Adult FUS Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis
ABSTRACT Objective Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by progressive motor neuron degeneration. Fused in sarcoma (FUS)‐associated juvenile ALS (jALS) represents a distinct and aggressive subgroup with rapid deterioration and poor prognosis.

ABSTRACT Objectives Focal cortical dysplasia (FCD) is the most common etiology of drug‐resistant epilepsy in children. Focal to bilateral tonic–clonic seizures (FBTCS) mark a high risk of drug‐resistant epilepsy and involve thalamocortical circuitry in their generation and propagation.

Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for

A Workflow to Accelerate Microstructure‐Sensitive Fatigue Life Predictions
This study introduces a workflow to accelerate predictions of microstructure‐sensitive fatigue life. Results from frameworks with varying levels of simplification are benchmarked against published reference results. The analysis reveals a trade‐off between accuracy and model complexity, offering researchers a practical guide for selecting the optimal ...
