Dimensional Reduction and Screening Masses in Pure Gauge Theories at Finite Temperature [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
We studied screening masses in the equilibrium thermodynamics of SU(2) and SU(3) pure gauge theories on the lattice. At a temperature of 2 Tc we found strong evidence for dimensional reduction in the non-perturbative spectrum of screening masses.

Embedded fuzzing: a review of challenges, tools, and solutions

open access: yesCybersecurity, 2022
Fuzzing has become one of the best-established methods to uncover software bugs. Meanwhile, the market of embedded systems, which binds the software execution tightly to the very hardware architecture, has grown at a steady pace, and that pace is ...

Large Language Model guided Protocol Fuzzing

open access: yesNetwork and Distributed System Security Symposium
—How to find security flaws in a protocol implementation without a machine-readable specification of the protocol? Facing the internet, protocol implementations are particularly security-critical software systems where inputs must adhere to a specific ...

Nilpotent fuzz

open access: yesReports on Mathematical Physics, 2008
We present a construction of the formalism where fundamental variables are nilpotent, but in contrast to the supermathematics, commutative. This gives another possibility to realize classically the Pauli exclusion principle. We sketch the relevant formalism and discuss simple model of the nilpotent oscillator to illustrate the generalized nilpotent ...

Four-quark flux distribution and binding in lattice SU(2) [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
The full spatial distribution of the color fields of two and four static quarks is measured in lattice SU(2) field theory at separations up to 1 fm at beta=2.4. The four-quark case is equivalent to a qbar q qbar q system in SU(2) and is relevant to meson-

Improving Function Coverage with Munch: A Hybrid Fuzzing and Directed Symbolic Execution Approach

open access: yes, 2017
Fuzzing and symbolic execution are popular techniques for finding vulnerabilities and generating test-cases for programs. Fuzzing, a blackbox method that mutates seed input values, is generally incapable of generating diverse inputs that exercise all ...

A Fuzzing Tool Based on Automated Grammar Detection

open access: yesSoftware
Software testing is an important step in the software development life cycle to ensure the quality and security of software. Fuzzing is a security testing technique that finds vulnerabilities automatically without accessing the source code.

A systematic review of fuzzing based on machine learning techniques.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2020
Security vulnerabilities play a vital role in network security system. Fuzzing technology is widely used as a vulnerability discovery technology to reduce damage in advance.

The Progress, Challenges, and Perspectives of Directed Greybox Fuzzing

open access: yes, 2021
Most greybox fuzzing tools are coverage-guided as code coverage is strongly correlated with bug coverage. However, since most covered codes may not contain bugs, blindly extending code coverage is less efficient, especially for corner cases.

A comprehensive lattice study of SU(3) glueballs [PDF]

open access: yes, 1993
We present a study of the $SU(3)$ glueball spectrum for all $J^{PC}$ values at lattice spacings down to $a^{-1}=3.73 (6)$ GeV ($\beta=6.4$) using lattices of size up to $32^4$.
