Cuts of intuitionistic fuzzy sets respecting fuzzy connectives
Information Sciences, 2013Intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IF-sets) create a suitable tool to describe cases where it is useful to account not only the grade of membership to a certain collection, but also the grade of its non-membership. We consider the @a-cuts of an IF-set A as crisp sets consisting of those elements x for which the truth value (in fuzzy logic) of the statement ''x

Fuzzy Edge Connectivity of Graphical Fuzzy State Space Model in Multi‐connected System
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2010Structured networks of interacting components illustrate complex structure in a direct or intuitive way. Graph theory provides a mathematical modeling for studying interconnection among elements in natural and man‐made systems. On the other hand, directed graph is useful to define and interpret the interconnection structure underlying the dynamics of ...

Nonstandard connectives in fuzzy logic
[Proceedings 1993] Second IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems, 2002A general approach is suggested to revise axiomatics of connectives in fuzzy logic. The study is carried out by solving functional equations for conjunctions. Then, starting from a t-norm, new families of fuzzy conjunctions and implications are introduced. Those t-norms are completely characterized for which R-implications and S-implications defined by

Cycle connectivity in fuzzy graphs
Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2013In this article, the concept of cycle connectivity of a fuzzy graph is introduced. Cycle connectivity of fuzzy trees, fuzzy cycles and complete fuzzy graphs are obtained. Also the concept of cyclic cutnodes and cyclic bridges in fuzzy graphs are introduced. A condition for complete fuzzy graphs to possess cyclic cutnodes is obtained.

Fuzzy Negation and Other Weak Fuzzy Connectives
2012This paper deals with some dependencies between fuzzy negations and other fuzzy connectives. The generalized laws of contradiction and excluded middle are considered. Methods for generating fuzzy negation from fuzzy conjunction, disjunction or fuzzy implication together with another fuzzy negation are also presented.

Fuzzy Galois connections in L-fuzzy posets
Journal of Algebraic Hyperstructures and Logical AlgebrasWe consider properties of fuzzy Galois connections on L-fuzzy posets for complete residuated lattices L and show some results about their properties by operator-based methods. We also prove that there is a new fuzzy Galois connection on fuzzy posets. Moreover, we give a simple condition for the existence of right adjoint map.

Binary Connectives in Fuzzy Logic
2008 Eighth International Conference on Hybrid Intelligent Systems, 2008This paper gives an overview on some classes of binary connectives that play a key role in fuzzy logic. We start with left-continuous triangular norms, by recalling some facts about the nilpotent minimum and its extensions. Some standard construction methods are also described.

Fuzzy Convexity and Connectivity
2001In image analysis and pattern recognition fuzzy sets play the role of a good model for segmentation and classifications tasks when the regions and the classes cannot be strictly defined. Shape analysis is of great importance for different applications of image processing, for instance 0in the recognition of pathological objects on X-ray or microscopic ...
