An Indicator‐Based Decision Framework for Circular Bioeconomy Transition in the Steel Industry: Integrating Multiphase Learning and Cooperative Game Modelling

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Despite growing attention to the circular bioeconomy (CBE), the steel industry currently lacks a standardised, sectoral measurement framework to facilitate a low‐carbon transition. In this study, a decision‐support framework for evaluating CBE performance in the steel industry is proposed.

Neural network to solve fuzzy constraint satisfaction problems

open access: yesIAES International Journal of Artificial Intelligence (IJ-AI)
<p>It has been proven that solving the constraint satisfaction problem (CSP) is an No Polynomial hard combinatorial optimization problem. This holds true even in cases where the constraints are fuzzy, known as fuzzy constraint satisfaction problems (FCSP). Therefore, the continuous Hopfield neural network model can be utilized to resolve it.

Field-based Fuzzy Spatial Reasoning Model for Geographical Information Systems: Case of Constraint Satisfaction Problem

open access: yesTheory and Applications of GIS, 2005
Humans' representation in nature language about geographic phenomena is usually qualitative rather than quantitative. Qualitative spatial reasoning provides an approach which is considered to be closer to the representation. Commercial GIS software are confronted with a challenge that the software should be equipped with artificial intelligent ...

Data‐Driven Analysis of Green Logistics Strategies for the Logistics and Transportation Companies: A Bipolar Fuzzy Methodology

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Global imperatives, such as climate change, environmental concerns, and carbon emissions, make green transformation an inevitability in the logistics sector. Green logistics strategy formulation is an economic choice problem, but it also turns out to be a multicriteria decision‐making (MCDM) process that encompasses the triple bottom line (TBL)

Digital Transformation for Sustainable Development of SMEs: A Systematic Review of ‘How We Know,’ ‘What We Know’ and Research Agenda

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Small‐ and medium‐sized enterprises (SMEs) are expected to contribute more significantly to the sustainability agenda. Digital transformation (DT) has the potential to enable SMEs to fulfil their sustainable development goals. However, SMEs encounter unique challenges in leveraging DT for sustainability due to their size, limited resources and

When Do CEO Temporal Focus and Board Interlocks Lead to Eco‐Innovation? A Configurational Approach

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In this study, we examine how different corporate governance profiles—combinations of CEOs' temporal focus profiles and board interlocks—shape corporate eco‐innovation.
