In this article, we propose a multicriteria fuzzy control (MFC) based on fuzzy measures and fuzzy integrals. The basic idea underlying this approach is based on analyzing the source of attributes of the system output response and applying the fuzzy measure and integral theory to the existing fuzzy control.

A collection b of fuzzy controllers is a universal fuzzy controller if and only if given any controllable process P it can also be controlled by some fuzzy controller in b. This paper identifies a new type of universal fuzzy controller.

Defuzzification in Fuzzy Controllers
Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 1993An important subject in fuzzy control theory is tuning of a fuzzy controller. If one wants to tune a fuzzy controller, one can focus on the choice of rules, membership functions, number of input and output fuzzy sets and their degree of overlapping, implication, and connection operations, and defuzzification method.

The fuzzy controllers could be broadly used in control processes thanks to their good performance, one disadvantage is the problem of fuzzy controllers tuning, this implies the handling of a great quantity of variables like: the ranges of the membership functions, the shape of this functions, the percentage of overlap among the functions, the number of

About simple fuzzy control and fuzzy control based on fuzzy relational equations
Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 1999Abstract The paper discusses fuzzy controllers based on fuzzy relational equations in the case when fuzzy controllers' inputs are exact. Godelian implication and minimum function as t-norm are considered. Fuzzy relational equation with sup-t composition results in plausible control and adjoint equation results in the simple fuzzy control (min-max ...

The paper presents fuzzy modelling as a tool for design of nonlinear controllers. An architecture and function of a fuzzy logic controller (FLC) is described. Three implementations of FLCs are recognized: look-up table, fuzzy relational and fuzzy logic-neural network based systems.

Fuzzy Components for Fuzzy Control
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1994Abstract Fuzzy components are characterized by their ability to handle fuzzy symbolic information. This paper presents their use in fuzzy control. First, we present a general typology of fuzzy controllers. Fuzzy components like fuzzy sensors, fuzzy actuators and fuzzy inference components are then defined. The use of fuzzy components in fuzzy control

This paper describes a fuzzy sets method which is very useful for handling uncertainties and essential for knowledge acquisition of a human expert. Kinetics of a reactor is often complex and not trivial to describe by mathematical equations. Reactor control by traditional control technology is therefore difficult. A novel technology is presented.

Stability and the fuzzy controller
Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 1996The paper is devoted to the problem of stability of a single input-single output systems \(P\) put in a closed loop with a controller \((F)\). The main result states that if a system \((P,F)\) is stable then it is also stable for a number of elementary fuzzy controllers (FC) (including such commonly used as the Sugeno and Mamdani controller).
