From Lab to Landscape: Environmental Biohybrid Robotics for Ecological Futures

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This Perspective explores environmental biohybrid robotics, integrating living tissues, microorganisms, and insects for operation in real‐world ecosystems. It traces the leap from laboratory experiments to forests, wetlands, and urban environments and discusses key challenges, development pathways, and opportunities for ecological monitoring and ...

An SMP Soft Classification Algorithm for Remote Sensing [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
This work introduces a symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) version of the continuous iterative guided spectral class rejection (CIGSCR) algorithm, a semiautomated classification algorithm for remote sensing (multispectral) images.

Neural Fields for Highly Accelerated 2D Cine Phase Contrast MRI

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT 2D cine phase contrast (CPC) MRI provides quantitative information on blood velocity and flow within the human vasculature. However, data acquisition is time‐consuming, motivating the reconstruction of the velocity field from undersampled measurements to reduce scan times. In this work, neural fields are proposed as a continuous spatiotemporal

A Notion of Convergence in Fuzzy Partially Ordered Sets

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
The notion of sequential convergence in fuzzy partially ordered sets, under the name oF-convergence, is well known. Our aim in this paper is to introduce and study a notion of net convergence, with respect to the fuzzy order relation, named o-convergence,

Genetic Control of Tissue Remodeling by a Non‐Coding SNP in ITGA8 Explains Carotenoid‐Based Color Polymorphism in Marine Mollusks

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this study, the orange‐muscle giant abalone (Haliotis gigantea) is used as a model to identify a non‐coding SNP that disrupts the interaction between ITGA8 pre‐mRNA and the splicing factor ILF2, leading to altered ITGA8 splicing. These splicing changes promote carotenoid accumulation in abalone muscle through the regulation of tissue remodeling ...

GloPath: An Entity‐Centric Foundation Model for Glomerular Lesion Assessment and Clinicopathological Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An entity‐centric foundation model, GloPath, is introduced for comprehensive glomerular lesion assessment from routine renal biopsy images. Trained on over one million glomeruli, the framework enables robust lesion recognition, grading, and cross modality diag nosis, while uncovering large‐scale clinicopathological associations.

On some applications of fuzzy points

open access: yesApplied General Topology, 2005
The notion of preopen sets play a very important role in General Topology and Fuzzy Topology. Preopen sets are also called nearly open and locally dense.

Metric Properties of the Fuzzy Sphere

open access: yes, 2012
The fuzzy sphere, as a quantum metric space, carries a sequence of metrics which we describe in detail. We show that the Bloch coherent states, with these spectral distances, form a sequence of metric spaces that converge to the round sphere in the high ...

Filter Convergence and Fuzzy Topology [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Fuzzy Logic and Intelligent Systems, 2010
After introducing many different types of prefilter convergence, we introduce an universal method to define various notions of compactness using cluster point and convergence of a prefilter and to prove the Tychonoff theorem using characterizations of ultra(maximal) prefilters.

A Guide for Spatial Omics Technologies: Innovation, Evaluation, and Application

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review presents a strategy‐centric framework for spatial omics technologies, organizing methods by how spatial information is experimentally encoded. It compares key performance trade‐offs across sequencing‐ and imaging‐based approaches, examines computational and practical limitations, and highlights biomedical applications. The analysis provides
