Data Mining and Fuzzy Data Mining Using MapReduce Algorithms

open access: yes, 2021
Data mining is knowledge discovery process. It has to deal with exact information and inexact information. Statistical methods deal with inexact information but it is based on likelihood. Zadeh fuzzy logic deals with inexact information but it is based on belief and it is simple to use. Fuzzy logic is used to deal with inexact information.

AN ALGORITHM FOR GENERATING SINGLE DIMENSIONAL FUZZY ASSOCIATION RULE MINING

open access: yesJurnal Informatika, 2006
Association rule mining searches for interesting relationship among items in a large data set. Market basket analysis, a typical example of association rule mining, analyzes buying habit of customers by finding association between the different items ...

Generalized fuzzy data mining for incomplete information

open access: yes2017 International Conference on Fuzzy Theory and Its Applications (iFUZZY), 2017
Defining data with fuzziness made the knowledge discovery process easy and secure to data in data mining. The fuzzy data bases may have linguistic variables. In this paper, fuzzy conditional inference and reasoning are studied for generalized fuzzy data mining. Generalized fuzzy data mining and reasoning is studied with two membership functions “Belief”

MINING MULTIDIMENSIONAL FUZZY ASSOCIATION RULES FROM A DATABASE OF MEDICAL RECORD PATIENTS

open access: yesJurnal Informatika, 2008
Mining association rules is one of the important tasks in the process of data mining application. In general, the input as used in the process of generating rules is taken from a certain data table by which all the corresponding values of every domain ...

A Fuzzy Rule-Based Decision Support in Process Mining: Turning Diagnostics into Prescriptions

open access: yesApplied Sciences
In this study, a fuzzy rule-based framework has been developed that expands from the diagnostic analyses traditionally offered by process mining to a decision-support structure that provides recommendations to managers.
