Fuzzy decision making with immediate probabilities [PDF]
We developed a new decision-making model with probabilistic information and used the concept of the immediate probability to aggregate the information. This type of probability modifies the objective probability by introducing the attitudinal character of the decision maker. In doing so, we use the ordered weighting average (OWA) operator.

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Vestibular Patient Journey: Insights From Vestibular Disorders Association (VeDA) Registry
ABSTRACT Objective Vestibular symptoms impose a high burden of disability. Understanding real‐world diagnostic and treatment pathways can identify care gaps and guide interventions. We aimed to characterize symptom profiles, diagnostic trends, provider involvement, and treatment patterns in vestibular disorders.

A Novel MAGDM Approach With Proportional Hesitant Fuzzy Sets
In this paper, we propose an extension of hesitant fuzzy sets, i.e., proportional hesitant fuzzy sets (PHFSs), with the purpose of accommodating proportional hesitant fuzzy environments.

Neurologic Manifestations of Long COVID Affect Adult Females More Severely Than Males
ABSTRACT Objective To characterize differences in neurologic manifestations of postacute sequelae of SARS‐CoV‐2 infection (Neuro‐PASC) between females and males. Methods Cross‐sectional study of the first consecutive 261 posthospitalization Neuro‐PASC (PNP) and 2068 nonhospitalized Neuro‐PASC (NNP) patients evaluated at the Neuro‐COVID clinic between ...

Observer‐Based Adaptive Event‐Triggered Tracking Control for Fuzzy TS Systems With Premise Mismatch
This paper presents an adaptive logistic event‐triggered observer‐based tracking controller for Takagi‐Sugeno fuzzy systems under constrained inputs and network delays. Leveraging a hybrid LMI and Secretary Bird Optimization approach, this strategy significantly minimizes communication overhead and computational burden while ensuring optimal reference ...
