People Counting and Positioning Using Low‐Resolution Infrared Images for FeFET‐Based In‐Memory Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
In this work, low‐resolution infrared imaging is combined with a 28 nm FeFET IMC architecture to enable compact, energy‐efficient edge inference. MLC FeFET devices are experimentally characterized, and controlled multi‐level current accumulation is validated at crossbar array level.

Different Methodologies in Treating Uncertainty (Invited Paper) [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Systemics, Cybernetics and Informatics, 2018
Uncertainty is unavoidable when dealing with data. The errors in measurements, limitations of measuring tools, or imprecise definition of linguistic variables may result in different types of uncertainty. These ambiguities may be due to vagueness in data

Experimental Demonstration of Temporally Aware Fault‐Tolerant Sensor Fusion Using Memristive Associative Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
In dynamic driving scenarios, the proposed approach ensures only temporally aligned sensor inputs to make driving decisions, preventing false activations. By enabling selective hardware‐level learning, it achieves fast, reliable responses under noisy conditions.

Description Logics with Fuzzy Concrete Domains

open access: yesCoRR, 2005
We present a fuzzy version of description logics with concrete domains. Main features are: (i) concept constructors are based on t-norm, t-conorm, negation and implication; (ii) concrete domains are fuzzy sets; (iii) fuzzy modifiers are allowed; and (iv) the reasoning algorithm is based on a mixture of completion rules and bounded mixed integer ...
