Fuzzy entropy on intuitionistic fuzzy sets

International Journal of Intelligent Systems, 2006
In this article we exploit the concept of probability for defining the fuzzy entropy of intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs). We then propose two families of entropy measures for IFSs and also construct the axiom definition and properties. Two definitions of entropy for IFSs proposed by Burillo and Bustince in 1996 and Szmidt and Kacprzyk in 2001 are used.

Fuzzy Partition Entropies and Entropy Constrained Fuzzy Clustering Algorithms

Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 1997
This article introduces three families of fuzzy partition entropies and investigates their relationship with Bezdek's partition entropy. Bezdek's partition entropy is interpreted as the limit of partition entropies of order a, partition entropies of order β, and R-norm partition entropies introduced in this study.

Fuzzy Soft Matrices Entropy

International Journal of Fuzzy System Applications, 2018
This article describes how information technology and internet together infused organizations with huge amount of data. Consequently, accumulating, storing, understanding and analyzing data at a large scale is equally important and complex. Out of this data not all is information data, in order to extract information, one needs to discard redundant ...

On fuzzy relative entropy

Open Systems & Information Dynamics, 1992
Summary: The concept of fuzzy set was introduced by \textit{L. A. Zadeh} [Inf. Control 8, 338-353 (1965; Zbl 0139.24606)]. This concept is considered to provide a new way for handling intrinsic ambiguity by a different viewpoint from statistical treatment. Some relations between the fuzziness and the concept of fuzzy entropy, an original description of

Novel Pythagorean fuzzy entropy and Pythagorean fuzzy cross-entropy measures and their applications1

Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2021
Entropy and cross-entropy are very vital for information discrimination under complicated Pythagorean fuzzy environment. Firstly, the novel score factors and indeterminacy factors of intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs) are proposed, which are linear transformations of membership functions and non-membership functions.

Entropy of fuzzy events

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 1997
The authors consider a generalization of the Shannon entropy of a random variable to some kinds of fuzzy random variables. They relate this generalized Shannon entropy to some other types of measures of uncertainty and information.

Fuzzy Measures: Collectors of Entropies

2007
In the fuzzy setting we define a collector of entropies, which allows us to consider the reliability of observers. This leads to a system of functional equations. We are able to find the general solution of the system for collectors, which are compatible with a law of the kind "Inf" in [2]. Finally we give a class of solutions for a collector for which
