On automorphisms of fuzzy graphs

Pattern Recognition Letters, 1989
Abstract We introduce some definitions for fuzzy graphs and provide examples to explain various notions introduced. We show that every fuzzy group can be imbedded in a fuzzy group of the group of automorphisms of some fuzzy graph.

Domination in fuzzy graphs – I

Pattern Recognition Letters, 1998
The concept of fuzzy graph was introduced by A. Rosenfeld. A fuzzy graph \(G=(\sigma,\mu)\) is given by the vertex set \(V\) and by two functions \(\sigma:V \to[0,1]\) and \(\mu:E\to[0,1]\) such that \(\mu(xy)= \mu((x,y)) \leq\sigma (x) \wedge\sigma (y)\) for any two vertices \(x,y\) of \(V\); the symbol \(E\) denotes the set of all two-element subsets

Fuzzy domination in fuzzy graphs

Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2023
 Let G = (V, μ, σ) be a fuzzy graph on a finite set V. A fuzzy subset μ′ of μ is called a fuzzy dominating set of G if, μ ′ ( v ) + ∑ x ∈ V ( σ ( x , v ) ∧ μ ′ ( x ) ) ≥ μ ( v ) for every v ∈ V . Fuzzy domination number γfz is defined accordingly. In this paper we initiate a study of this parameter.

Tolerance fuzzy graphs

Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2023
Tolerance graphs were introduced in 1982 by M. C. Golumbic and C. L. Monma as a generalization of interval graphs. In this paper, we introduce tolerance fuzzy graphs as a generalization of tolerance graphs, and apply them to a modeling of a transmission of airborne diseases.

Saturation in Fuzzy Graphs

New Mathematics and Natural Computation, 2018
Edges of a fuzzy graph are mainly classified into [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text]. In this paper, we study certain saturation counts with respect to the classification of edges. Characterizations for fuzzy cycles, fuzzy trees, blocks in fuzzy graphs and complete fuzzy graphs are also obtained using saturation counts.

Fuzzy coloring for fuzzy graphs

10th IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems. (Cat. No.01CH37297), 2002
In this paper the questions of coloring of fuzzy graphs are observed. Definitions of separation degree and fuzzy chromatic set of fuzzy graphs are presented. A method for finding fuzzy chromatic set is suggested and substantiated.

Graph fuzzy homomorphism interpreted as fuzzy association graphs

Proceedings 15th International Conference on Pattern Recognition. ICPR-2000, 2002
A new generic definition of graph fuzzy morphism is introduced that includes classical graph related problem definitions as sub-cases. Two practical interpretations as well as some properties are discussed. This definition is a first attempt towards a unified theoretic framework for graph morphism.

Hesitant fuzzy graphs, hesitant fuzzy hypergraphs and fuzzy graph decisions1

Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2021
Up to now, there have been a lot of research results about multi-attribute decision making problems by fuzzy graph theory. However, there are few investigations about multi-attribute decision making problems under the background of indecisiveness. The main reason is that the difference of cognition and the complexity of thinking by decision makers, for

Fuzzy Influence Graphs

New Mathematics and Natural Computation, 2017
Trafficking in persons is the most heinous and condemnable organized crime of our time. The eradication of this crime must involve the full cooperation of all. In this paper, we provide a mathematical method to model such cooperation. We use a new concept in fuzzy graph theory, namely, that of incidence.
