Hough and Fuzzy Hough Transform in Music Tunes Recognition Systems
2009This paper presents a method of music tunes recognition based on the Hough transform as well as its fuzzy version. One can also find here experimental results showing the effectiveness of the presented solutions. Perspectives of further work and quality improvements are also stated as a base for subsequent research.

Introducing the select and split fuzzy cell Hough transform
Proceedings of 13th International Conference on Pattern Recognition, 1996In this paper a new variation of Hough transform is proposed. The parameter space of Hough transform is recursively roughly split into fuzzy cells which are defined as fuzzy numbers. This fuzzy partition of the parameter space provides the advantage to use the uncertainty of the contour points location, which is increased when noisy images have to be ...

Fuzzy Hough transform and an MLP with fuzzy input/output for character recognition
Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 1999Abstract A neuro-fuzzy system for character recognition using a fuzzy Hough transform technique is presented in this paper. For each character pattern, membership values are determined for a number of fuzzy sets defined on the standard Hough transform accumulator cells.

Pipes Localization Method Based on Fuzzy Hough Transform
2017In this paper a novel method of pipes detection in images on an industrial enterprise is proposed. Detailed description of preprocessing procedures is given. Method is supposed to work with grayscale images. First, contrast of the source image is increased. Then smoothing procedure is applied to reduce noise influence.

Fuzzy Hough transformation in aiding computer tomography based liver diagnosis
2019 IEEE AFRICON, 2019In the liver many types of roundish lesions can appear, as well as near the liver. Finding the contour of such objects can improve both the segmentation of the liver from its environment, and the segmentation of the lesions within the liver. However, classical Hough transform, which is one of the main methods for finding objects described by a ...

Tracker Planet of Mars Using Hough Transform Method and Fuzzy Logic
2018 International Electronics Symposium on Engineering Technology and Applications (IES-ETA), 2018One of the observational instruments used to observe distant objects is the Telescope. This thing is the most important part in astronomical observation, as done in LAPAN - Pasuruan. The main function for observing celestial bodies such as the planet Mars so that it appears more clearly.

Boundary Recognition of an Aperture Based on Fuzzy Fast Hough Transform
ACTA PHOTONICA SINICA, 2010A new fuzzy fast Hough transform is proposed to detect the circular boundary of Labyrinth disc aperture in an aeroengine. In the new algorithm, the circle detection problem is decomposed into two stages consisting of a 2D Hough transform to find circle centre and a 1D Hough transform to determine the radius. The 2D Hough transform performs a hierarchical ...

Implementation of autonomous vehicles with the hough transform and fuzzy control
SICE Annual Conference 2007, 2007An automatic driving system for a golf car is developed and tested in the campus. The system utilizes a single vision sensor CCD and adopts the road-model-matching method to obtain the lane marks by applying the Hough transform method. Compared with the inverse perspective mapping (IPM) method of which is affected greatly by the position, yaw and tilt ...

A fuzzy probabilistic model for the generalized Hough transform
IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, 1994A fuzzy-probabilistic model of the generalized Hough transform (GHT) based on qualitative labeling of scene features is presented. Qualitative labeling of scene features is shown to be effective in pruning the search space of possible scene interpretations and also reducing the number of spurious interpretations explored by the GHT.

Reconstruct street network from imprecise excavation data using fuzzy Hough transforms
GeoInformatica, 2013This paper proposes an approach for handling multivariate data in an archaeological Geographical Information System (GIS), providing a new tool to archaeologists and historians. Our method extracts potential objects of known shapes in a geographical database (GDB) devoted to archaeological excavations.
