Fuzzy Hough transformation in aiding computer tomography based liver diagnosis
2019 IEEE AFRICON, 2019In the liver many types of roundish lesions can appear, as well as near the liver. Finding the contour of such objects can improve both the segmentation of the liver from its environment, and the segmentation of the lesions within the liver. However, classical Hough transform, which is one of the main methods for finding objects described by a ...

Efficient Combination of the Fuzzy Hough Transform and the Burns Segment Detector
2007This paper describes a computational framework for the fully automated detection of line segments in 2D digital images. The operation of the framework is divided in two stages, the low level directional primitive detection through Gabor wavelets and growing cell structures, and the segment detection through an efficient and very accurate combination of

Pipes Localization Method Based on Fuzzy Hough Transform
2017In this paper a novel method of pipes detection in images on an industrial enterprise is proposed. Detailed description of preprocessing procedures is given. Method is supposed to work with grayscale images. First, contrast of the source image is increased. Then smoothing procedure is applied to reduce noise influence.

Blood cell image segmentation based on the Hough transform and fuzzy curve tracing
2011 International Conference on Machine Learning and Cybernetics, 2011Segmentation of blood cells is a difficult task because of the presence of noise and the substantial brightness changes within cells in microscopy images. A method based on the Hough transform and fuzzy curve tracing is proposed in this paper. The Hough transform is used to detect the rough circular boundary of each cell.

Generalized Fuzzy Hough Transform for Detecting Arbitrary Shapes in a Vague and Noisy Image
Soft Computing, 2006A generalized Hough transform is an effective method for an arbitrary shape detection in a contour image. However, the conventional generalized Hough transform is not suitable for a noisy and blurred image. This paper describes a generalized fuzzy Hough transform which is derived by fuzzifying the vote process in the Hough transform.

Tracker Planet of Mars Using Hough Transform Method and Fuzzy Logic
2018 International Electronics Symposium on Engineering Technology and Applications (IES-ETA), 2018One of the observational instruments used to observe distant objects is the Telescope. This thing is the most important part in astronomical observation, as done in LAPAN - Pasuruan. The main function for observing celestial bodies such as the planet Mars so that it appears more clearly.

Localization and Extraction of the Optic Disc Using the Fuzzy Circular Hough Transform
2006This paper presents an algorithm for automatic extraction of the optic disc in retinal images. The developed system consists of two main parts. Firstly, the localization of the region containing the optic disc is performed by means of a clustering algorithm.

Applying Fuzzy Hough Transform for Identifying Honed Microgeometrical Surfaces
2019In the measurement of microgeometrical surfaces it is useful if the same location can be found on a surface for two or more different and independent measurements, as in this case not only statistical parameters of the measurements can be compared, but direct differences can be calculated.

Development of an Automatic Stencil Inspection System Using Modified Hough Transform and Fuzzy Logic
IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2007In this paper, the authors present a system to inspect metal stencil that is used to print solder paste on pads of surface-mounted device on printed circuit board. The developed inspection system is composed of a moderately precise X-Y robot and a vision system.

Segment Extraction Using Burns Principles in a Pseudo-color Fuzzy Hough Transform
2005This paper describes a computational framework developed for the extraction of low-level directional primitives present in an image, and subsequent organization through a line segment detector. The system is divided in three stages: extraction of the directional features in the image through an efficient implementation of Gabor wavelet decomposition ...
