Effective Detection of Nucleus in Cytodiagnosis by Employing Combinatorial Fuzzy Hough Transform
Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 1997Hough transform is an effective method for line detection in a digital image. However, the conventional Hough transform can not be applied well enough for an image corrupted by heavy noise. This paper describes a combinatorial fuzzy Hough transform, which enables a detection of not only a blurred line, but also a segment of a line in a very noisy image.

Applying Fuzzy Hough Transform for Identifying Honed Microgeometrical Surfaces
2019In the measurement of microgeometrical surfaces it is useful if the same location can be found on a surface for two or more different and independent measurements, as in this case not only statistical parameters of the measurements can be compared, but direct differences can be calculated.

Fuzzy generalized hough transform invariant to rotation and scale in noisy environment
2009 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems, 2009Generalized Hough Transform (GHT) is an efficient method for detecting curves by exploiting the duality between points on a curve and parameters of that curve. However GHT has some practical limitations such as high computational cost and huge memory requirement for detecting scaled and rotated objects.

Egg's diameter detection using fuzzy C-means and Iterative Random Hough Transform
2017 1st International Conference on Informatics and Computational Sciences (ICICoS), 2017A process to determine the egg quality is mostly made manually by most of breeders. Separation of eggs from qualified eggs reduces visual control difficulties which are done using human power as well as ensures improvement on the quality control process. Qualified is conducted by sorting each egg in accordance with the diameter. Diameter can be divided

Blood cell image segmentation based on the Hough transform and fuzzy curve tracing
2011 International Conference on Machine Learning and Cybernetics, 2011Segmentation of blood cells is a difficult task because of the presence of noise and the substantial brightness changes within cells in microscopy images. A method based on the Hough transform and fuzzy curve tracing is proposed in this paper. The Hough transform is used to detect the rough circular boundary of each cell.

An automatic hardness measuring method using Hough transform and fuzzy c-means algorithm
10th IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems. (Cat. No.01CH37297), 2005A novel automatic Vickers hardness measuring method is proposed. An algorithm called Hough fuzzy vertices detection algorithm (HFVDA) is proposed. In order to overcome the unavoidable affects of vertex detection due to surface contaminations or specimen texture, HFVDA transforms all the candidate pixels on the indentation edge lines into Hough space ...

Efficient Combination of the Fuzzy Hough Transform and the Burns Segment Detector
2007This paper describes a computational framework for the fully automated detection of line segments in 2D digital images. The operation of the framework is divided in two stages, the low level directional primitive detection through Gabor wavelets and growing cell structures, and the segment detection through an efficient and very accurate combination of

Segment Extraction Using Burns Principles in a Pseudo-color Fuzzy Hough Transform
2005This paper describes a computational framework developed for the extraction of low-level directional primitives present in an image, and subsequent organization through a line segment detector. The system is divided in three stages: extraction of the directional features in the image through an efficient implementation of Gabor wavelet decomposition ...

An Autonomous Vehicle Navigation System Based on Hough Transform and Fuzzy Logic
2016This paper proposes an autonomous vehicle navigation system based on Hough Transform and fuzzy logic techniques. Hough Transform is used to detect the lane lines and the position of the vehicle in the lane. The vehicle position and the deviation of the proceeding orientation are used to control the steering system.
