GHRHR Deficiency Enhances Retinal Ganglion Cell Survival and Visual Functions in Experimental Glaucoma by Inhibiting Ferroptosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Glaucoma, a major cause of blindness, involves retinal ganglion cell (RGC) degeneration. This study shows growth hormone‐releasing hormone receptor (GHRHR) deficiency preserves RGC survival and restores vision, unlike activation which only aids survival.

Relationships among tissues, biofluids, and otolith selenium concentrations in wild female burbot (Lota lota)

open access: yesIntegrated Environmental Assessment and Management, EarlyView., 2023
Abstract In the Lake Koocanusa‐Kootenai River system (Montana, USA and British Columbia, Canada), selenium (Se) contamination has become an international concern and is suspected to contribute to the observed burbot (Lota lota) population collapse. Due to our limited ability to sample burbot in Lake Koocanusa for monitoring studies, we used a reference

Brain and Liver Dual‐Targeting Oridonin Nanoparticles to Enhance Aβ Clearance for Alzheimer's Disease Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We developed a nanoparticle named OAF, which simultaneously targeted to both the brain and liver via the transferrin receptor 1 (TfR1) receptor, promoting lipoprotein receptor‐related protein 1 (LRP1) expression to enhance amyloid‐beta (Aβ) clearance. In AD mice model, OAF significantly reduced Aβ deposition and cognitive impairment, while a mitigating

Operators in 2-fuzzy n-n inner product space

open access: yesMalaya Journal of Matematik, 2018
In this paper various 2 -fuzzy operators are introduced in 2 -fuzzy $n-n$ inner product space and the properties of 2-fuzzy self-adjoint, 2-fuzzy normal, 2-fuzzy unitary and 2-fuzzy projection operators are studied.

Duality theorems in fuzzy mathematical programming problems based on the concept of necessity

open access: yes, 2020
[[abstract]]The fuzzy-valued Lagrangian function for the fuzzy mathematical programming problem via the concept of the fuzzy scalar (inner) product is proposed. A solution concept of fuzzy optimization problems, which is essentially similar to the notion

Microglia‐Targeted Biomimetic Tetrahedral Framework Nucleic Acid Nanovesicles for Synergistic Treatment of Sepsis‐Associated Encephalopathy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Sepsis‐associated encephalopathy (SAE) lacks effective therapies. We developed ME@FDsi, a biomimetic nanodrug using a tetrahedral framework nucleic acid to deliver disulfiram and siTNFα. It crosses the blood‐brain barrier, targets M1 microglia, inhibits pyroptosis and inflammation, and scavenges ROS.

On the Theory of Intuitionistic Fuzzy N-Inner Product Spaces with Applications [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics and Statistics, 2012
Problem statement: The purpose of this study was to introduce the notion of Intuitionistic fuzzy n-inner product space and to prove a fixed point theorem in complete intuitionistic fuzzy ninner product space. Conclusion/Recommendations: Further this result is applied to obtain the existence and uniqueness of solution for linear volterra integral ...

Fuzzy orthogonal random measure

open access: yes, 1986
The fundamental theory of fuzzy orthogonal random measure, the value of which is the element of a Hilbert space, as classical orthogonal random measure, is established perfectly, such as the extension theorem, the corresponding integral, and the inner ...

A Triple‐Nanoparticle System for Controlled Graphene Nanosheet Stacking: Enabling K/Na‐Ion Battery Anodes with Ultra‐Fast Charging Exceeding Petroleum Vehicle Refueling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Large‐ion (K, Na) battery systems mitigate uneven global lithium distribution, while their ability to attain recharge time shorter than refueling would remove the final barrier for secondary batteries to replace petroleum vehicles. However, their large‐ion chemistry makes ultra‐fast charging an even significant challenge.
