The Theory of Fuzzy Logic and its Application to Real Estate Valuation [PDF]
Fuzzy logic is based on the central idea that in fuzzy sets each element in the set can assume a value from 0 to 1, not just 0 or 1, as in classic set theory. Thus, qualitative characteristics and numerically scaled measures can exhibit gradations in the

In this paper we try to combine two approaches. One is the theory of knowledge graphs in which concepts are represented by graphs. The other is the axiomatic theory of fuzzy sets (AFS). The discussion will focus on the idea of fuzzy concept. It will be

Nanoscale Mapping of the Subcellular Glycosylation Landscape
Using multiplexed super‐resolution imaging with fluorophore‐labeled lectins, this study reports intracellular glycosylation at the nanoscale across organelles and synaptic specializations. Extending glycan analysis beyond the cell surface, Glyco‐STORM reveals distinct glycosylation nanodomains in the ER, Golgi, lysosomes, and synaptic sites.

A comparison of multidimensional deprivation characteristics between natives and immigrants in Luxembourg [PDF]
This paper applies a multidimensional approach to poverty measurement based on fuzzy set theory, and its decomposition properties, in order to measure the deprivation level in Luxembourg and to identify the different characteristics of poverty between ...

Fuzziness and Funds Allocation in Portfolio Optimization [PDF]
Each individual investor is different, with different financial goals, different levels of risk tolerance and different personal preferences. From the point of view of investment management, these characteristics are often defined as objectives and ...

CellPolaris decodes how transcription factors guide cell fate by building gene regulatory networks from transcriptomic data using transfer learning. It generates tissue‐ and cell‐type‐specific networks, identifies master regulators in cell state transitions, and simulates TF perturbations in developmental processes.

Graph-based multi-attribute decision-making method with new fuzzy information measures
n-intuitionistic polygonal fuzzy sets have significant advantages over traditional fuzzy sets in handling uncertain information. Due to the fact that information measure is an effective tool for handling uncertain information, this paper proposes ...
