Content analysis of TikTok videos about tick prevention methods for dogs and cats

open access: yesVeterinary Record, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Social media is a major source of pet health information. On platforms such as TikTok, algorithm‐driven recommendations may expose users to health‐related content even without active searching. This study described tick prevention videos on TikTok.

Mazur-Ulam theorem under weaker conditions in the framework of 2-fuzzy 2-normed linear spaces

open access: yes
The purpose of this paper is to prove that every 2-isometry without any other conditions from a fuzzy 2-normed linear space to another fuzzy 2-normed linear space is affine, and to give a new result of the Mazur-Ulam theorem for 2-isometry in the ...

Enhancing generalized spectral clustering with embedding Laplacian graph regularization

open access: yesCAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology, EarlyView.
Abstract An enhanced generalised spectral clustering framework that addresses the limitations of existing methods by incorporating the Laplacian graph and group effect into a regularisation term is presented. By doing so, the framework significantly enhances discrimination power and proves highly effective in handling noisy data.

Boosted unsupervised feature selection for tumor gene expression profiles

open access: yesCAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology, EarlyView.
Abstract In an unsupervised scenario, it is challenging but essential to eliminate noise and redundant features for tumour gene expression profiles. However, the current unsupervised feature selection methods treat all samples equally, which tend to learn discriminative features from simple samples.

Progressive Colour Equalisation and Detail Refinement for Underwater Image Enhancement

open access: yesCAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Underwater image enhancement remains a critical challenge in computational vision due to complex distortions caused by wavelength‐dependent light absorption and scattering. This paper introduces CEDFNet, a novel two‐stage framework that leverages advanced computational intelligence techniques for robust and high‐fidelity underwater image ...

A Quantised Push‐Sum Distributed Adaptive Momentum Algorithm for Optimisation Over Directed Networks

open access: yesCAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In this paper, we investigate a distributed constrained optimisation problem over directed networks. The agents in the networks conduct local computations and communications, endeavouring to collaboratively minimise the aggregation of all locally known convex cost functions subject to a global constraint set.
