PROCESSING OF FUZZY NUMBERS BY FUZZY RELATION EQUATIONS
Kybernetes, 1986In this paper we deal with fuzzy numbers that modelize uncertain quantities present in many fields of applications, such as man‐machine systems. Main attention is paid to inverse operations for fuzzy numbers which allow one to solve equations or systems of equations with fuzzy numbers.

Ranking Fuzzy Numbers Based on the Mean and Fuzzy Degree of Fuzzy Number
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2012In this paper, a novel approach to ranking fuzzy numbers based on the mean and the fuzzy degree of fuzzy number is proposed. In the approach, a new ranking index that is comprehensive consideration of the mean and the fuzzy degree of fuzzy number is constructed, and then the properties of the ranking index are given.

Interval fuzzy sets allow us to deal not only with vagueness (lack of sharp class boundaries), but also with uncertainty (lack of information). The aim of this tutorial is to present some basic concepts about interval fuzzy numbers. Several concepts related to fuzzy sets are extended to the interval approach.

Approximation of intuitionistic fuzzy numbers by trapezoidal intuitionistic fuzzy numbers
Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2017The notation of extended intuitionistic fuzzy number is introduced and the representation of the weighted extended trapezoidal intuitionistic approximation of an intuitionistic fuzzy number is given in this paper. The problem related to aggregation is addressed about approximating the given intuitionistic fuzzy numbers or aggregating the given ...

The fuzzy degrees of fuzzy n - cell numbers
2010 Seventh International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Knowledge Discovery, 2010In this paper, we study the problems about fuzzy degrees of fuzzy n - cell numbers, which can be used in ranking uncertain multi-channel digital signal information. Firstly, we introduce concepts of vector-valued fuzzy degrees and weight (number-valued) fuzzy degrees of fuzzy n - cell numbers, and then investigate their properties. At last, in order to

Algebra of ordered fuzzy numbers (OFN) is defined to handle with fuzzy inputs in a quantitative way, exactly in the same way as with real numbers. Additional two structures: algebraic and normed (topological) are introduced to define a general form of defuzzyfication operators.
