On Approximation of Any Ordered Fuzzy Number by A Trapezoidal Ordered Fuzzy Number [PDF]

open access: yesSymmetry, 2018
In this paper, the model of imprecise quantity information is an ordered fuzzy number. The purpose of our study is to propose some methods of approximating any ordered fuzzy number using a trapezoidal ordered fuzzy number. The information ambiguity is evaluated by means of an energy measure.

Revision of the Kosiński’s Theory of Ordered Fuzzy Numbers [PDF]

open access: yesAxioms, 2018
Ordered fuzzy numbers are defined by Kosiński. In this way, he was going to supplement a fuzzy number by orientation. A significant drawback of Kosiński’s theory is that there exist such ordered fuzzy numbers which, in fact, are not fuzzy numbers. For this reason, a fully formalized correct definition of ordered fuzzy numbers is proposed here.

Hybrid decision support system disaster management: application of lattice ordered q-rung linear Diophantine fuzzy hypersoft sets [PDF]

open access: yesPeerJ Computer Science
The discovery of the lattice-ordered q-rung linear Diophantine fuzzy hypersoft set is a significant extension of fuzzy set theory. This study describes many of its fundamental algebraic operations, such as restricted union, extended union, restricted ...

Generalized OWA Operator of Orthopair Neutrosophic Numbers and Their Application in Multiple Attribute Decision-Making Problems [PDF]

open access: yesNeutrosophic Sets and Systems, 2023
A neutrosophic number (NN) is a useful mathematical tool in indeterminacy theory. As the mixed form of an intuitionistic fuzzy set and NN, an orthopair neutrosophic number (ONN) can express the true indeterminate degree and the false indeterminate degree.

Oriented Fuzzy Numbers vs. Fuzzy Numbers

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
A formal model of an imprecise number can be given as, inter alia, a fuzzy number or oriented fuzzy numbers. Are they formally equivalent models? Our main goal is to seek formal differences between fuzzy numbers and oriented fuzzy numbers.

Some Certain Fuzzy Fractional Inequalities for Up and Down -Pre-Invex via Fuzzy-Number Valued Mappings

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2023
In this study, we apply a recently developed idea of up and down fuzzy-ordered relations between two fuzzy numbers. Here, we consider fuzzy Riemann–Liouville fractional integrals to establish the Hermite–Hadamard-, Fejér-, and Pachpatte-type inequalities.

Some Induced Aggregating Operators with Fuzzy Number Intuitionistic Fuzzy Information and their Applications to Group Decision Making [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems, 2010
With respect to multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problems in which both the attribute weights and the expert weights take the form of real numbers, attribute values take the form of fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy numbers, a new group ...

Aczel-Alsina Aggregation Operators on Complex Fermatean Fuzzy Information With Application to Multi-Attribute Decision Making

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
Decision-making problems are often characterized by complexity and uncertainty, presenting significant challenges for individuals or organizations. Aczel Alsina t-norm (TN) and t-conorm (TCN) are more flexible than other TN and TCN due to their variable ...

Evaluation of economic development policies using a spherical fuzzy extended TODIM model with Z̆-numbers.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2023
Zadeh's Z̆-numbers are able to more effectively characterize uncertain information. Combined with "constraint" and "reliability". It is more powerful at expressing human knowledge.
