AbstractFuzzy numbers have been introduced by Zadeh in order to deal with imprecise numerical quantities in a practical way. We consider eight classes of fuzzy numbers. We define nine operations for the addition of these fuzzy numbers and we investigate interrelationships between these operations.

Fuzzy Distance of Trapezoidal Fuzzy Numbers [PDF]
Fuzzy distance is applied on data analysis, classification, and product positioning analysis widely.
