Cell Segmentation Beyond 2D—A Review of the State‐of‐the‐Art
Cell segmentation underpins many biological image analysis tasks, yet most deep learning methods remain limited to 2D despite the inherently 3D nature of cellular processes. This review surveys segmentation approaches beyond 2D, comparing 2.5D and fully 3D methods, analyzing 31 models and 32 volumetric datasets, and introducing a unified reference ...

FUZZY PRIME IDEALS OF A SEMIRING AND FUZZY PRIME SUB-SEMIMODULES OF A SEMIMODULE OVER A SEMIRING
In this paper we define fuzzy prime right ideals and fuzzy prime subsemimodules of a right R-semimodule. We characterize those semirings for which each fuzzy ideal is prime and those semirings for which each fuzzy right ideal is prime.Fuzzy prime ideal ...

The authors develop a deep learning model for real‐time tracking of wound progression. The deep learning framework maps the nonlinear evolution of a time series of images to a latent space, where they learn a linear representation of the dynamics. The linear model is interpretable and suitable for applications in feedback control.

Toward Intelligent Multimodal Holography for Real‐Time Chemical Imaging of Dynamic Ion Separation
Intelligent multimodal holography integrates digital off‐axis holography, spectroscopic imaging, and AI‐driven reconstruction to visualize ion transport and chemical dynamics in real time. In this perspective paper, we outline how this approach enables label‐free, chemically specific monitoring of complex environments and discuss its potential to ...

Parametric Analysis of Spiking Neurons in 16 nm Fin Field‐Effect Transistor Technology
Energy efficient computing has driven a shift toward brain‐inspired neuromorphic hardware. This study explores the design of three distinct silicon neuron topologies implemented in 16 nm fin field‐Effect transistor technology. While the Axon‐Hillock design achieves gigahertz throughput, its functional fragility persists. The Morris–Lecar model captures

Uncertainty‐Guided Selective Adaptation Enables Cross‐Platform Predictive Fluorescence Microscopy
Deep learning models often fail when transferred to new microscopes. A novel framework overcomes this by selectively adapting the early layers governing low‐level image statistics, while freezing deep layers that encode morphology. This uncertainty‐guided approach enables robust, label‐free virtual staining across diverse systems, democratizing ...

Fuzzy Γ-ideals in Γ-AG-groupoids
In this paper we study fuzzy Γ-ideals and prime, semiprime fuzzy Γ-ideals of a Γ-AG-groupoid S. We prove that, if S is a Γ-AG-groupoid with left identity, then every fuzzy Γ-ideal of S is idempotent if and only if every fuzzy Γ-ideal of S is semiprime ...

The use of image quality metrics in combination with machine learning enables automatic image quality assessment for fluorescence microscopy images. The method can be integrated into the experimental pipeline for optical microscopy and utilized to classify artifacts in experimental images and to build quality rankings with a reference‐free approach ...
