Localization of Frog Virus 3 Conserved Viral Proteins 88R, 91R, and 94L
The characterization of the function of conserved viral genes is central to developing a greater understanding of important aspects of viral replication or pathogenesis.

Semileptonic decays of double heavy baryons in a relativistic constituent three-quark model
We study the semileptonic decays of double heavy baryons using a manifestly Lorentz covariant constituent three-quark model. We present complete results on transition form factors between double-heavy baryons for finite values of the heavy quark/baryon ...

The Climate Modeling Alliance Atmosphere Dynamical Core: Concepts, Numerics, and Scaling
Abstract This paper presents the dynamical core of the Climate Modeling Alliance (CliMA) atmosphere model, designed for efficient simulation of a wide range of atmospheric flows across scales. The core uses the nonhydrostatic equations of motion for a deep atmosphere, discretized with a hybrid approach that combines a spectral element method (SEM) in ...

GFDL SHiELD: A Unified System for Weather‐to‐Seasonal Prediction
We present the System for High‐resolution prediction on Earth‐to‐Local Domains (SHiELD), an atmosphere model developed by the Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory (GFDL) coupling the nonhydrostatic FV3 Dynamical Core to a physics suite originally taken ...

Decay constants of P and D-wave heavy-light mesons
We investigate decay constants of P and D-wave heavy-light mesons within the mock-meson approach. Numerical estimates are obtained using the relativistic quark model.

Bethe-Salpeter equation for doubly heavy baryons in the covariant instantaneous approximation [PDF]
In the heavy quark limit, a doubly heavy baryon is regarded as composed of a heavy diquark and a light quark. We establish the Bethe-Salpeter (BS) equations for the heavy diquarks and the doubly heavy baryons, respectively, to leading order in a $1/m_{Q}$

Amphibian populations worldwide face threats from emerging infectious diseases. We screened frog‐biting midges (Corethrella spp.) from Central and South America for Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis, Ranaviruses, and Trypanosoma spp. using qPCR. All three pathogens were detected, indicating that Corethrella may act as vectors and represent promising tools

Order Statistics Based List Decoding Techniques for Linear Binary Block Codes [PDF]
The order statistics based list decoding techniques for linear binary block codes of small to medium block length are investigated. The construction of the list of the test error patterns is considered.
