Functional Mapping of Neurodevelopmental Disease Pathways to Key Neurodevelopmental Processes Represented in the Developmental Neurotoxicity In Vitro Testing Battery

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Human‐relevant methods are essential for modern chemical safety assessment. This study helps define the capabilities and boundaries of an in vitro testing battery for developmental neurotoxicity by exploring its biological applicability domain. By linking neurodevelopmental disease‐related pathways to key neurodevelopmental processes, the work enhances

The IL‐10/IL‐6 Ratio and the Risk Score: Two Cytokines‐Based Predictors for Malignancy‐Associated Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis in Adults (M‐HLHa)

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Hematology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The predictive value of cytokines (CK) for malignancy‐associated adult hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (M‐HLHa) remains uncertain. We evaluated a cytokine‐based Risk Score (RS) and the IL‐10/IL‐6 Ratio to predict M‐HLHa. Adult patients (n = 112) from the French HLH cohort (NCT02113917) with complete data for nine key HLH related CK measured

Gėrio ir blogio interpretacija katalikybės atstovų darbuose

open access: yesProblemos, 2014
Straipsnyje nagrinėjamas Lietuvos katalikų klerikalų plėtotas antikomunistinis blogio supratimas. Ši koncepcija rėmėsi tradicine objektyviojo idealizmo dvasinių vertybių interpretacija, neigė realius žmogaus poreikius.

The impact of forced closure on proppant distribution of hydraulic fracturing in shale formations

open access: yesDeep Underground Science and Engineering, EarlyView.
Research findings demonstrate that implementing forced closure within shale formations can remarkably mitigate proppant settlement, concurrently increasing the effective propped surface area from 29.74% to 38.68%. Abstract Forced closure is widely used in conventional oil and gas reservoirs to promote uniform proppant placement.

Mechanical Regulation of Limb Bud Formation

open access: yesCells, 2022
Early limb bud development has been of considerable interest for the study of embryological development and especially morphogenesis. The focus has long been on biochemical signalling and less on cell biomechanics and mechanobiology.
