G-optimal N-observation first order 2 designs

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics, 1983
AbstractThe G-optimal first order (weighing) design with k factors and N observations is examined. It is shown that for N ≡ 1 (mod 4), k < N − 1, the G-optimal, whenever a Hadamard matrix of order N − 1 exists. The same is true for the saturated designs with N = 5, 13, 25.

Coarse-to-Fine Lifted MAP Inference in Computer Vision [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
There is a vast body of theoretical research on lifted inference in probabilistic graphical models (PGMs). However, few demonstrations exist where lifting is applied in conjunction with top of the line applied algorithms.

Semi-G-Preinvexity and Optimality in Mathematical Programming

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2014
We mainly discuss the properties and applications of semi-G-preinvexity, which was introduced in Peng and Chang 2013. Examples are given to show the existence of semi-G-preinvex functions.

On comparing the prediction variances of some central composite designs in spherical regions: a review

open access: yesStatistica, 2013
Three second-order response surface designs, namely: central composite design, small composite design and minimum-run resolution V design are compared for factors 3 to 7 in spherical regions using the G- and I- optimality criteria.

G-OPTIMAL DESIGN OF NON-LINEAR MODEL TO INCREASE PURITY LEVELS OF SILICON DIOXIDE

open access: yesBAREKENG: Jurnal Ilmu Matematika dan Terapan, 2023
Silicon Dioxide (SiO2) is one of the most abundant minerals found on earth. SiO2 is widely used in various fields, so its availability as a finite natural resource diminishes. A purity procedure can raise the purity of low-quality silica by altering the temperature and rate of temperature rise.

A Class of G-Semipreinvex Functions and Optimality

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2012
A class of G-semipreinvex functions, which are some generalizations of the semipreinvex functions, and the G-convex functions, is introduced. Examples are given to show their relations among G-semipreinvex functions, semipreinvex functions and G-convex ...

Generalized Minimax Programming with Nondifferentiable (G, β)-Invexity

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2013
We consider the generalized minimax programming problem (P) in which functions are locally Lipschitz (G, β)-invex. Not only G-sufficient but also G-necessary optimality conditions are established for problem (P ...

Optimal Design Generation and Power Evaluation in R: The skpr Package

open access: yesJournal of Statistical Software, 2021
The R package skpr provides a suite of functions to generate and evaluate experimental designs. Package skpr generates D, I, Alias, A, E, T, and G-optimal designs, and supports custom user-defined optimality criteria, N-level split-plot designs, mixture ...

Karush-Kuhn-Tucker optimality conditions for a class of robust optimization problems with an interval-valued objective function

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2020
In this article, we study the nonlinear and nonsmooth interval-valued optimization problems in the face of data uncertainty, which are called interval-valued robust optimization problems (IVROPs).
