Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

The effect of oxidation on the stability of G-quadruplex DNA : implications for oncogene expression [PDF]
G-quadruplexes (G4-DNA) are a class of secondary structures formed from Guanine rich sequences. In recent years these structures have been implicated in both telomere maintenance and oncogene expression, and have been shown to be abundant in upstream ...

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Study of complexity factor and stability of dynamical systems in $$f(\mathcal {G})$$ f ( G ) gravity
In this paper, we evaluate the complexity of the non static cylindrical geometry with anisotropic matter configuration in the framework of modified Gauss–Bonnet theory.

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

On the stability of generalized gamma functional equation
We obtain the Hyers-Ulam stability and modified Hyers-Ulam stability for the equations of the form g(x+p)=φ(x)g(x) in the following settings: |g(x+p)−φ(x)g(x)|≤δ, |g(x+p)−φ(x)g(x)|≤ϕ(x), |(g(x+p)/φ(x)g(x))−1|≤ψ(x).
