Identifying Student Discussion in Computer-Mediated Problem Solving Chat [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
The COMPS project employs computer chat for students working in small groups solving classroom problems. This summer’s project aims to build computer classifiers that could effectively “look over the shoulders” of the students while working, to ...

Two-loop QCD corrections of the massive fermion propagator [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
The off-shell two-loop correction to the massive quark propagator in an arbitrary covariant gauge is calculated and results for the bare and renormalized propagator are presented.

The Intersection of Traumatic Events Across Generations: PTSD Symptoms Among War Veterans With Holocaust Survivor Parents Before and Following the October 7 Terror Attack

open access: yesInternational Journal of Psychology, Volume 60, Issue 6, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Previous traumatic exposure, as well as ancestral trauma, may render individuals more sensitive to subsequent trauma. The current study examined the intersection between traumatic events across generations by assessing change in post‐traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms before and after the October 7 terror attack among Israeli war ...

Universal features in the efficiency of ultra hot quantum Otto engines

open access: yes, 2014
We study internal work optimization over the energy levels of a generic hot quantum Otto engine. We find universal features in the efficiency that resembles the classical external power optimization over the coupling times to the thermal baths.

Self‐Processing Circuits Among Depressed Youth After Amygdala Neurofeedback Cued to the Self‐Face

open access: yesJournal of Neuroscience Research, Volume 103, Issue 12, December 2025.
RT‐fMRI neurofeedback targeting the amygdala‐hippocampus complex was followed by changes in amygdala connectivity with prefrontal, temporal, and occipital regions in depressed youth. Neurofeedback was also associated with hemisphere‐specific amygdala‐cuneus shifts that were associated with improvements in rumination and depression symptoms.

Microbial and Metabolomic Variations Correlated With Gastric Cancer Subtypes and Prognosis

open access: yesMicrobiologyOpen, Volume 14, Issue 6, December 2025.
Multi‐omics analysis of 50 GC patients revealed conserved microbial‐metabolite signatures across Lauren/ZJU subtypes, with ZJU‐specific features—Eubacterium_ventriosum_group and N6‐Succinyl Adenosine—enabling superior prognostic stratification. ABSTRACT Gastric cancer (GC) persists as the third most prevalent malignancy in China.

Examining Students' Mathematics Achievement: A Multilevel Analysis of Students' Motivational Beliefs and School Mathematics Instructional Quality

open access: yesPsychology in the Schools, Volume 62, Issue 12, Page 5053-5068, December 2025.
ABSTRACT This study examined the effects of students' motivational beliefs and school mathematics instructional quality on students' mathematics achievement based on the Opportunity Propensity Framework. We selected 8854 15‐year‐old students from 683 schools across 5 countries/economies (Hong Kong, Macao, Shanghai‐China, Singapore, Chinese Taipei) in ...
