High serum magnesium level is associated with increased mortality in patients with sepsis: an international, multicenter retrospective study [PDF]
MedComm, Volume 5, Issue 10, October 2024.This study investigated the association of serum magnesium with all‐cause mortality in septic patients from American and Chinese cohorts. The findings suggest that high serum magnesium levels at the onset of sepsis are independently associated with increased mortality.
