Stereotyped Subclones Revealed by High‐Density Single‐Cell Lineage Tracing Support Robust Development

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 30, August 14, 2025.
Based on a well‐established in vitro directed differentiation model and an integrated analysis of high‐density cell lineage trees (CLTs) and single‐cell transcriptomes, it is demonstrated that many subclones are formed by sub‐CLTs resembling each other in terms of both cell type compositions and topological structures.

Distinct Functions of Gq and G11 Proteins in Coupling α1-Adrenoreceptors to Ca2+ Release and Ca2+ Entry in Rat Portal Vein Myocytes*

open access: yesJournal of Biological Chemistry, 1997
In this study, we identified the subunit composition of Gq and G11 proteins coupling α1-adrenoreceptors to increase in cytoplasmic Ca2+ concentration ([Ca2+]i) in rat portal vein myocytes maintained in short-term primary culture.

Maternal sleep, coparenting quality, and parenting across the first 2 years postpartum

open access: yesJournal of Marriage and Family, Volume 87, Issue 4, Page 1502-1523, August 2025.
Abstract Objective This study examined the between‐ and within‐person associations between maternal sleep patterns and parenting quality across the first 2 years postpartum, with a particular interest in the moderating role of coparenting quality. Background Parents are at high risk for poor sleep health during the postpartum period. However, little is

Explicit form of the Mann-Marolf surface term in (3+1) dimensions

open access: yes, 2009
The Mann-Marolf surface term is a specific candidate for the "reference background term" that is to be subtracted from the Gibbons-Hawking surface term in order make the total gravitational action of asymptotically flat spacetimes finite.

Transmission in double quantum dots in the Kondo regime: Quantum-critical transitions and interference effects

open access: yes, 2007
We study the transmission through a double quantum-dot system in the Kondo regime. An exact expression for the transmission coefficient in terms of fully interacting many-body Green's functions is obtained.

A Jang Equation Approach to the Penrose Inequality

open access: yes, 2009
We introduce a generalized version of the Jang equation, designed for the general case of the Penrose Inequality in the setting of an asymptotically flat space-like hypersurface of a spacetime satisfying the dominat energy condition.
