K3 surfaces with an automorphism of order 66, the maximum possible [PDF]
In each characteristic $p\neq 2, 3$, it was shown in a previous work that the order of an automorphism of a K3 surface is bounded by 66, if finite. Here, it is shown that in each characteristic $p\neq 2, 3$ a K3 surface with a cyclic action of order 66 ...

Random phase approximation and its extension for the quantum O(2) anharmonic oscillator
We apply the random phase approximation (RPA) and its extension called renormalized RPA to the quantum anharmonic oscillator with an O(2) symmetry.

Simulations of the galaxy population constrained by observations from z=3 to the present day: implications for galactic winds and the fate of their ejecta [PDF]
We apply Monte Carlo Markov Chain (MCMC) methods to large-scale simulations of galaxy formation in a LambdaCDM cosmology in order to explore how star formation and feedback are constrained by the observed luminosity and stellar mass functions of galaxies.

Nonvolatile Solid Additive with a Simple Structure for Nonfullerene Organic Solar Cells
This study investigates 4‐bromobiphenyl (BBP), a nonvolatile solid additive with a simple molecular structure, for optimizing the bulk heterojunction morphology in organic solar cells. BBP promotes donor–acceptor miscibility, suppresses excessive aggregation, and enhances crystallinity, resulting in a power conversion efficiency of 18.11%.

Causality of fluid dynamics for high-energy nuclear collisions
Dissipative relativistic fluid dynamics is not always causal and can favor superluminal signal propagation under certain circumstances. On the other hand, high-energy nuclear collisions have a microscopic description in terms of QCD and are expected to ...

Surgical gestures—An emerging field for surgical assessment and training
Abstract As surgical training shifts from a traditional method to a more standardized approach, objective analysis and assessment of surgeon performance has become a key focus. Surgical gestures, defined as the smallest independent units of instrument‐tissue interaction, offer a quantifiable way to analyze surgical performance.

Inverse approach to Einstein's equations for fluids with vanishing anisotropic stress tensor
We expand previous work on an inverse approach to Einstein Field Equations where we include fluids with energy flux and consider the vanishing of the anisotropic stress tensor.

On the equivalence between the Boltzmann equation and classical field theory at large occupation numbers [PDF]
We consider a system made up of exictations of a neutral scalar field, \phi, having a \lambda\phi^4 interaction term. Starting from an ensemble where the occupation number f is large, but \lambda f is small, we develop a classical field theory ...

Bat algorithm based on kinetic adaptation and elite communication for engineering problems
Abstract The Bat algorithm, a metaheuristic optimization technique inspired by the foraging behaviour of bats, has been employed to tackle optimization problems. Known for its ease of implementation, parameter tunability, and strong global search capabilities, this algorithm finds application across diverse optimization problem domains. However, in the

A Note on T-dualities in the Pure Spinor Heterotic String
In this note we study the preservation of the classical pure spinor BRST constraints under super T-duality transformations. We also determine the invariance of the one-loop conformal invariance and of the local gauge and Lorentz anomalies under the super
