Designing and Controlling Transient Supramolecular Gels

open access: yesChemSystemsChem, Volume 7, Issue 2, March 2025.
Designing highly dynamic materials is of great interest to broader systems chemistry. Here a transient gel system which has predetermined changes in state is altered by varying both trigger and temperature, accessing novel materials. The aging of these system is also explored, providing new insights into the control and understanding of supramolecular ...

‘Recommend to a Friend’ Metric: A Non‐Financial Measure of Firm Performance and Employee Satisfaction

open access: yesAccounting &Finance, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study explores two research questions. Firstly, we examine whether the “recommend‐to‐a‐friend” (RTF) indicator signals firm performance. Analysis of data from Glassdoor.com indicates a positive association between higher RTF values and firm‐level performance metrics, suggesting RTF as a non‐financial performance signal.

How Sovereign Sustainable Bond Issuance Shakes Up the Corporate Sustainable Bond Market?: Evidence From Asian Markets

open access: yesAsian Economic Policy Review, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study examines how sovereign sustainable bond issuance affects the yields and liquidity of corporate sustainable bonds in eight Asian markets. Using panel vector autoregression (VAR) and daily data from 2018 to 2024, we find that initial sovereign sustainable bond issuance improves corporate sustainable bond liquidity and reduces yield ...

Evidence that 5‐HT2A receptor signalling efficacy and not biased agonism differentiates serotonergic psychedelic from non‐psychedelic drugs

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, EarlyView.
Background and Purpose Serotonergic psychedelic drugs are under investigation as therapies for various psychiatric disorders, including major depression. Although serotonergic psychedelic drugs are 5‐HT2A receptor agonists, some such agonists are not psychedelic, potentially due to differences in 5‐HT2A receptor ligand bias or signalling efficacy. Here,

Pulmonary Delivery of TCR Bispecific Proteins via Mesenchymal Stem Cells Facilitates Efficient Clearance of Lung Cancers

open access: yesCancer Science, EarlyView.
This study examines the deployment of T‐cell receptor (TCR) bispecific proteins administered through mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) as a therapeutic strategy for pulmonary carcinoma. Utilizing a humanized murine model, TCR bispecific proteins exhibited potent cytotoxicity against pulmonary carcinoma cell lines, with MSCs proficiently localizing to the ...

Learning from experience in the stock market [PDF]

open access: yes
We study the dynamics of a Lucas-tree model with finitely lived agents who "learn from experience." Individuals update expectations by Bayesian learning based on observations from their own lifetimes.
