Galaxy and Mass Assembly (GAMA): Exploring the WISE Web in G12 [PDF]
Abstract We present an analysis of the mid-infrared Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE) sources seen within the equatorial GAMA G12 field, located in the North Galactic Cap. Our motivation is to study and characterize the behavior of WISE source populations in anticipation of the deep multiwavelength surveys that will define the ...

An SSI‐Informed Design for Tuned Mass Dampers With Small‐to‐Large Mass Ratios
ABSTRACT Tuned Mass Dampers (TMDs) are used to mitigate structural vibrations induced by seismic or wind excitation, by tuning the device to the system's dominant resonant frequencies. However, the TMD effectiveness can be undermined by soil‐structure interaction, which can lead to elongation of the vibration periods and to combined translational ...

Predictive Assessment of Progressive Damage in Mechanically Fastened Glass–Epoxy Composites
Progressive damage in mechanically fastened glass–epoxy composites. ABSTRACT Ensuring the structural integrity of advanced composites necessitates precise methodologies for forecasting the onset and progression of damage. This research focused on the predicting progressive damage (PD) for riveted joints composite laminates employing a combined ...

Evolutionary History and Global Spread of the Emerging G12 Human Rotaviruses [PDF]
ABSTRACT G12 rotaviruses were first detected in diarrheic children in the Philippines in 1987, but no further cases were reported until 1998. However, G12 rotaviruses have been detected all over the world in recent years. Here, we report the worldwide variations of G12 rotaviruses to investigate the evolutionary mechanisms by which they ...

This study found that the metabolomic signature of umbilical venous cord blood in congenital heart disease (CHD) differs from that of healthy monozygotic (MZ) co‐twins. Dysregulation of metabolic pathways like glucose, lipid, and amino acid metabolism, along with altered metabolites, helps understand CHD predisposition.
