The Minor Planet Electronic Circulars contain information on unusual minor planets, routine data on comets and natural satellites, and occasional editorial announcements. They are published on behalf of Division F of the International Astronomical Union by the Minor Planet Center, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, Cambridge, MA 02138, U.S.A.

The final Galileo SSI observations of Io: orbits G28-I33
Icarus, 2004Abstract We present the observations of Io acquired by the Solid State Imaging (SSI) experiment during the Galileo Millennium Mission (GMM) and the strategy we used to plan the exploration of Io. Despite Galileo's tight restrictions on data volume and downlink capability and several spacecraft and camera anomalies due to the intense radiation close ...

Applicability of ASTM G28 Testing
CORROSION 2018, 2018Abstract It is common practice to perform intergranular corrosion testing in accordance with ASTM (1) G28 on solid solution nickel alloys, e.g. UNS N08825 (Alloy 825) and UNS N06625 (Alloy 625). The results of such tests are applied widely as acceptance tests for parent and welded materials, and as such are essentially used to confirm ...

G28 Ebola virus disease in children in Sierra Leone: A retrospective cohort study
Archives of Disease in Childhood, 2016Background The Ebola virus disease (EVD) outbreak in West Africa has claimed over 11000 lives with >27000 cases. Infected children Method A retrospective observational cohort was designed including all children Results 309 children aged 2 days to 12 years were admitted to EHUs and tested positive for EVD.

Agonistic and antagonistic properties of CD40 mAb G28-5 are dependent on binding valency.
Circulatory shock, 1995CD40 functional responses can be triggered by binding of mAb G28-5. Here we show that G28-5 induces partial CD40 responses and functions as a partial antagonist of natural CD40 ligand, gp39, by preventing gp39 binding. Fab fragments of G28-5 retain inhibitory activity but lose crosslinking-dependent stimulatory activity.

QUALITY IMPROVEMENT; EMBEDDING A CULTURE OF QUALITY IMPROVEMENT, 2019
Background Central lines are a vital component of ongoing care in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Central line associated bloodstream infection (CLABSI) is a leading source of sepsis in the NICU setting, with up to 20% mortality. Aim We aimed to achieve significant reduction in the number of positive blood culture and CLABSI events in a ...

Critical reviews in immunology, 1998
A single-chain Fv (sFv) was expressed from the variable regions of the CD40-specific mAb G28-5. The molecule bound CD40 with a high affinity (2.2 nM) and was a monomer in solution. Surprisingly, G28-5 sFv was a potent CD40 agonist that rapidly crosslinked CD40 on the cell surface but did not crosslink CD40-Ig in solution.
