GGE biplot and AMMI analysis of advanced breeding lines of linseed

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Plant Breeding, 2021
Ten advanced breeding lines of linseed were assessed in four environments viz; two locations each during 2016-17 and 2017-18. Analysis of variance exhibited a significant variation for genotype, environment and G X E effects for all the traits.

How process-based modeling can help plant breeding deal with G x E x M interactions

open access: yesField Crops Research, 2022
Genotype-by-Environment-by-Management (GxExM) interactions represent many unknowns for crop improvement programs, which hampers the development of improved varieties, especially for highly variable environments like those limited by rainfall. While breeding programs have traditionally used statistical tools to deal with these interactions, process ...

G × E interaction in the organization of attachment: mothers’ responsiveness as a moderator of children’s genotypes [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry, 2008
Background:  Scholars acknowledge that both biologically‐founded child temperament and environmental factors are influential in determining the quality of infant–mother attachment. We present evidence for gene by environment (G × E) interaction in the organization of attachment.

Genotype x environment interaction and optimum resource allocation for yield and yield components of cassava

open access: yes, 2000
Dry yield and yield components from 6 multilocational trials of cassava genotypes conducted for 3 years in Nigeria were used to study the nature and magnitude of genotype x environment (G x E) interaction and to determine the optimum resource allocation ...

AMMI analysis of grain yield in rice genotypes across environments

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Plant Breeding, 2018
The identification of the highest yielding cultivar for a specific environment on the basis of both genotype (G) and genotype x environment (GE) interaction would be useful to breeders and producers since yield estimates based only on G and environment ...
