Fine‐Scale Crustal Velocity Structure at the Lucky Strike Segment of Mid‐Atlantic Ridge From Full Waveform Inversion of Wide‐Angle Seismic Data

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth, Volume 130, Issue 3, March 2025.
Abstract The Lucky Strike segment at the Mid‐Atlantic ridge, characterized by a well‐defined median valley with a central volcano, is an archetypical slow‐spreading ridge segment and hence an ideal site for studying magmatic and tectonic processes at slow‐spreading ridges.

Climate change, production and trade in apples

open access: yesCanadian Journal of Agricultural Economics/Revue canadienne d'agroeconomie, Volume 72, Issue 3, Page 325-346, September 2024.
Abstract In this paper, we investigate the impacts of climate extremes on the production and trade of apples. Apple production being notoriously sensitive to climate shocks, we show that March and April temperatures and precipitations beyond estimated thresholds cause large yield reductions in Quebec and Ontario.

Dynamical segregation of galaxies in groups and clusters

open access: yes, 2004
We have performed a systematic analysis of the dynamics of different galaxy populations in galaxy groups from the 2dFGRS. For this purpose we have combined all the groups into a single system, where velocities v and radius r are expressed adimensionally.

Iranian classical dance as a subject for empirical research: An elusive genre

open access: yesAnnals of the New York Academy of Sciences, Volume 1533, Issue 1, Page 51-72, March 2024.
