Distribution of the Galactic Bulge emission at |b|>2deg according to the RXTE Galactic Center scans
We present an analysis of the Galactic bulge emission observed by the RXTE/PCA during a set of scans over the Galactic Center field, performed in 1999-2001. The total exposure time of these observations is close to 700 ksec. We construct the distribution

The luminosity of the Galactic center
High signal-to-noise 50- and 90-micron continuum maps of the central 5 x 4 arcmin of the Galaxy made from observations on the Kuiper Airborne Observatory are presented. Dust and luminosity distribution models which are consistent with the data are presented.

The power of monitoring stellar orbits
The center of the Milky Way hosts a massive black hole. The observational evidence for its existence is overwhelming. The compact radio source Sgr A* has been associated with a black hole since its discovery.

The Core Mass Function across Galactic Environments. IV. The Galactic Center
The origin of the stellar initial mass function (IMF) and how it may vary with galactic environment is a matter of debate. Certain star formation theories involve a close connection between the IMF and the core mass function (CMF), so it is important to ...

Infalling Gas Towards the Galactic Center
VLA maps of ammonia emission were made for the Galactic Center region. The NH3(1,1) and NH3(2,2) transitions were observed in three 2' x 2' fields covering Sgr A* and the region 3' immediately south of it.

Mapping the Outcomes of Stellar Evolution in the Disks of Active Galactic Nuclei
The disks of active galactic nuclei (AGNs) are expected to be populated by numerous stars, either formed in the outer regions of the disk via gravitational instability or captured from the nearby nuclear star cluster.

Multiwavelength Observations of Sgr A*. II. 2019 July 21 and 26
We report on the final two days of a multiwavelength campaign of Sgr A* observing in the radio, submillimeter, infrared (IR), and X-ray bands in 2019 July. Sgr A* was remarkably active, showing multiple flaring events across the electromagnetic spectrum.

Search for PeVatrons at the Galactic Center using a radio air-shower array at the South Pole
The South Pole, which hosts the IceCube Neutrino Observatory, has a complete and around-the-clock exposure to the Galactic Center. Hence, it is an ideal location to search for gamma rays of PeV energy coming from the Galactic Center.

Mid-infrared Extinction toward the Galactic Center
We determine the mid-infrared (MIR, ∼5–22 μ m) extinction toward the Galactic center using MIRI/Medium-Resolution Spectrometer (MRS) integral field unit observations of the central 3″ × 3″ region (near 5 μ m) to 7″ × 7″ region (near 22 μ m).

High energy emission from the Galactic Center: Theory and observations
Galactic Centre is a bright γ-ray source with the GeV-TeV band spectrum composed of two distinct components in the 1–10 GeV and 1–10 TeV energy ranges. The nature of the two components is not clearly understood.
