Hydrogen peroxide ‐ responsive aminoferrocene prodrugs
European Journal of Organic Chemistry, Accepted Article.Aminoferrocene (AF)‐based prodrugs are activated in cancer cells through reactions with H₂O₂ and other reactive oxygen species (ROS), generating electron‐rich AF’s. These, in turn, induce the production of highly toxic O2·‐ and HO·, leading to cancer cell death.

International Journal of Cancer, EarlyView.What's New? Our research highlights how tumor sialylation affects tumor growth and reshapes the immune tumor microenvironment in colorectal cancer. We demonstrate for the first time that complete removal of sialic acids from colorectal tumor cells elicits a robust anti‐tumor immune response, but does not enhance anti‐PD‐L1 blockade efficacy.
