Scintillation Response of 0D Cs3Cu2I5 Thin Layers to Light‐ and Heavy‐Ion Irradiation
Driven by increasing interest in uncovering the remarkable photoluminescence quantum yield of Cs3Cu2I5, polycrystalline thin layers are synthesized to investigate its radioluminescence response to energetic ions. Its spectroscopic capability is assessed in a wide range of ion mass and internal excitation processes are explored.

Photopatternable PEDOT:PSS Hydrogels for High‐Resolution Photolithography
A photosensitive biphasic conducting polymer hydrogel (PB‐CH) is rationally designed with PEDOT:PSS as the conductive phase and a light‐sensitive matrix as the mechanical phase. Such a PB‐CH offers a unique combination of excellent conductivity (≈30 S cm⁻¹), robust mechanical performance (with stretchability up to 50%), and high photopatternability ...

A New Method to Measure Star Formation Rates in Active Galaxies Using Mid-infrared Neon Emission Lines [PDF]
The star formation rate (SFR) is one of the most fundamental parameters of galaxies, but nearly all of the standard SFR diagnostics are difficult to measure in active galaxies because of contamination from the active galactic nucleus (AGN).

ABSTRACT Classification of galaxies, stars, and quasars using spectral data is fundamental to astronomy, but often relies heavily on redshift. This study evaluates the performance of 10 machine learning algorithms on SDSS data to classify these objects, with a particular focus on scenarios where redshift information is unavailable.
