The galaxy-galaxy strong lensing cross-sections of simulated LCDM galaxy clusters [PDF]
We investigate a recent claim that observed galaxy clusters produce an order of magnitude more galaxy-galaxy strong lensing (GGSL) than simulated clusters in a LCDM cosmology. We take galaxy clusters from the C-EAGLE hydrodynamical simulations and calculate the expected amount of GGSL for sources placed behind the clusters at different redshifts.

Galaxy Clusters in the Context of Superfluid Dark Matter [PDF]
It has recently been proposed, by assuming that dark matter is a superfluid, that MOND-like effects can be achieved on small scales whilst preserving the success of $\Lambda$CDM on large scales. Here we aim to provide the first set of spherical models of

Velocity Dispersion of 335 Galaxy Clusters Selected from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey: Statistical Evidence for Dynamical Interaction, and Against Ram-Pressure Stripping [PDF]
There has been plenty of observational evidence of cluster galaxy evolution. However, it has been difficult to identify the origin of the cluster galaxy evolution. Here we show that gravitational interaction/friction between galaxies is the statistically dominant physical mechanism responsible for the cluster galaxy evolution, and that the well-favored

LoCuSS: weak-lensing mass calibration of galaxy clusters [PDF]
We present weak-lensing mass measurements of 50 X-ray luminous galaxy clusters at $0.15\le z\le0.3$, based on uniform high quality observations with Suprime-Cam mounted on the 8.2-m Subaru telescope.

Galaxy Superclusters Detected in the Modified PF-Catalog Using the FOF Method
The Modified Catalog of Galaxy Clusters and Groups (Panko & Flin 2006, PF), covering an area of 5000 square degrees in the southern sky, was used as the input for the search of galaxy superclusters.

Occurrence of radio halos in galaxy clusters - Insight from a mass-selected sample [PDF]
Giant radio halos (RH) are diffuse Mpc-scale synchrotron sources detected in a fraction of massive and merging galaxy clusters. An unbiased study of the statistical properties of RHs is crucial to constrain their origin and evolution.

Phylogenetic relationships are reconstructed among the Liriomyza leafminers using phylogenomic analysis of nuclear gene loci obtained by anchored hybrid enrichment (AHE). Trees inferred using multiple data types and analysis methods are congruent and individual clade support confirms morphological species groups and relationships among them.

Galaxy Properties in Clusters: Dependence on the Environment and the Cluster Identification Techniques [PDF]
We investigate the dependence of several galaxy properties on the environment and cluster identification techniques. We select clusters of galaxies from two catalogues based on the SDSS: the ROSAT-SDSS Galaxy Cluster Survey, and the MaxBCG Catalogue. Based on a volume limited sample of galaxies drawn from the spectroscopic DR5 SDSS, we constructed sub ...
