This study serves as a proof‐of‐concept, demonstrating that deep shotgun sequencing of a single complex sample—stingless bee larval food—can simultaneously generate multiple genomic resources. From this dataset, we assembled three genomes (a near‐complete bacterium, a draft host mitochondrion, and a fragmented plant chloroplast) with varying ...

Araucanian herring (Strangomera bentincki) is a pelagic fish whose main processed products are fishmeal and oil. The complete mitogenome is 16,758 bp, consisting of 13 coding genes, two rRNAs, 22 tRNAs, and the control region. Phylogenetic analysis supported a monophyletic clade with Sprattus muelleri and Sprattus antipodum.

This study provides the first mitogenome of the endangered Peacock Softshell Turtle (Nilssonia hurum), revealing its evolutionary relationships and moderate genetic diversity across river basins. Species distribution modeling predicts up to 85% habitat loss under future climate scenarios, alongside severe declines in functional connectivity and rising ...

Phylogenetic analysis based on complete plastome data indicates that S. jinianum forms a monophyletic clade, sister to a well‐supported clade comprising four S. bulbiferum samples, supporting the reinstatement of S. jinianum as an independent species. ABSTRACT Sedum jinianum (Crassulaceae) has been treated as a synonym of S.
